what do you think of him, how do you rate him, what do you think he should do now? to me, he looks a really polished boxer but when he fought Mark Lloyd he brawled a little, i thought he looked good doing it. i would definately go out of my way to watch him. in his last fight against a tough Hungarian, boxing news wrote at times he was like "poetry in motion" and that he needs to be careful not to lose too much ground on kel brook. for a boxer with 12 fights in 2-3 years how do you think he is doing. i see in his division there are plenty of exciting domestic fights, on box rec i saw that he fancies a fight with o'donnell............thoughts? :good
didnt look great in the lloyd fight, but it was crazy that he would have lost that fight on points according to the cards, had he not stopped the guy in the last round.
Interview with Jamie. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=21104&more=1 Doesn't mention anything coming up. From the little I've seen an exciting fighter, good to watch but a bit reckless.
his last fight was on a keith mayo show, i dont know why he split with warren, i dont know if he'll get the same exposure and opportunities fighting under mayo. He did get carried away fighting Lloyd, when he had him down he made a kicking gesture towards his head, surely that is just adrenaline and playing up for the live t.v cameras? but to me he looks the buisness. looks like kel brook will say (if he beats jennings) that he's cleared up the domestic scene. how far behind in the pecking order is cox? what fights would be good for him, the o'donnell fight that he wants? i dont know
thanks mate :good i'm really interested in what he does next and what plans he has in the pipe line. he is great to watch.
Talented kid, seems a bit up himself, was a c*nt against Lloyd, very unsportsmanlike, some of his fans that had travelled up were dickheads too. Think he may struggle when taken into the trenches (Lloyd posed him some problems), wouldn't put him in the same class as Brook etc. Unsure whether he has split with Warren or not but I know before he'd headline Keith Mayo shows whilst still under Warren (as Mayo's shows are in Swindon his hometown, makes sense)
he was under the sports network banner simular to Macklin, Small and others. so he has been able to move on.
Very good prospect and could do well for himself but he is abit of a twat with the show boating. No idea who he is with now.
Good fighter is Jamie, Good student of the game.. He'll go far, Has bags of ability and can certainly bang..:good
i didn't see the last fight, but he has been one of my favourite prospects over the last year. i'm not sure its fair to compare him to kell brook right now, although i do seem to remember brook not being so highly thought of before the mcintyre fight
