Holt an overrated "puncher"?

Good power, but is a counterpuncher who doesn't throw many punches and doesn't go in for the finish after he hurts a guy.

 

Fine by me.

I think hatton who has above average power hits harder then holt....along with urango....hell, even valero at 135 punches harder....

holt's ko % tells the story folks...

Hatton doesn't punch nearly as hard as Holt.

holt hits hard...but if he dont get you out early, chances are he wont.....

Holt dropped bradley who said afterwards he felt the power and speed like no one he has faced before.

 

Its the speed what can hurt you with Holt, he is probably in the top 3 for the fastest hands in Boxing today.

if your using Holt's ko% to "tell the story" it's not a terribly good argument to use

as Kendall has 13 wins by kayo in 25 fights a kayo percentage a bit under 50%

it just means he's not a knockout artist

oh and the TS forgot to mention that yeah true Holt couldn't drop Diaz with one shot

but he did knock him down in the first round.

 

Holt can punch, no doubt. But if i had to pick someone i thought hit harder at 140, i'd say probably Randall Bailey.
