    I don't think Sergei or Lamon ever recovered from that fight. Too much punishment handed out, too many hard punches landing solidly.

    That "nobody" was a good Nigerian fighter despite his one loss, it's not like Brewster lost to a complete journeyman. If you can keep the jab in Brewster's face for a few rounds and avoid his big shots you can beat him.
