In America it is on it's last leg. Germany and England are thriving right now look at some of the crowds and fights they have put on in the last 5 years or so.
Don't worry, I won't. I'll be sure to post a "What did you think would happen" thread after JMM is completely outclassed and ****ed up.
ok well until he starts taking the fights that people actually want to see, then he'll never be good for the sport in my view. He's actually alienating fans by going after easy opponents for big paydays. What about all those people who shelled out 60 bucks to see a sparring session with Arturo Gatti and Baldomir? If the same thing happens this Saturday, do you think that's going to be good for boxing?
The fact that you made this topic is a a testement to why he is good for the sport. Hes on your mind, good or bad hes there, thats why hes good for the sport.
He is not good for the popularity of Boxing, he is quite the opposite. The people that walked away from Boxing to watch UFC feel vindicated having bene drawn back to Boxing for a major event like the "The World Awaits " only for it do be a major let down and reinforce the notion that Boxing is not where its at these days.
In your avatar, you have the biggest coward in boxing, lol, the sport would be much better of if it was dominated by quitters like golo**** , a man who will quit after the stiff breeze of a punch.
You miss the point. I'm not the casual sports fan. I'm a boxing fan and I'm not shelling out the cash for this fight. The casual fan sure as **** isn't either.
Mayweather is ushering the last few Boxing fans away from the Sport and making a lot of peoples minds up who are in the midst of deciding to switch Sports.
