Good way to turn the thread around you ass. Tyson fought everybody that there was to fight. He ducked no one in his prime.

Floyd fights guys like Arturo Gatti, Baldomir, now Marquez who is two weight classes below him, hypes them up as huge events, says he's going to 'massacre' his opponents but runs and potshots the whole ****ing fight. Tell me how this fool is good for boxing, or are you just all over his ballsack?

 

Im not talking about myself. Im talking about the casual fan, thats where majority of the revenue for these big fights comes from not guys like me and you.

 

Muhammad Ali boasted in a manner that Money Mayweather hasn't and probably never will surpass and the world that hated him then now reveres him. What hypocrisy or is it that people are pretty much programmed and hate simply as the media incourage ? Think people , the man is simply promoting a fight. You guys are way too emotional. Check out the great contributions to the needy outside of the ring , now match his contributions.

Boxing and MMA are 2 different sports, you guys seem to think that people just bounce from sport to sport, MMA already has a fan base just like boxing has its own fan base. People just dont all of a sudden say "im goin to like Boxing today". The casual MMA fans like quick knockouts, kicks, punches grabs etc. Something even the most exiting boxers cant provide.

If you had Tyson KOing people now and you had Fedor Suplexing mofos, the **** would still be divided. Why dont people get that some people like MMA, some people like Boxing.

 

Does it make any difference if they are going fishing rather than buying PPV they are still not interested if that is happening.

 

If Ali was fighting Foreman in this day an age on the same night Fedor fought Lesnar, Do you honestly believe that the **** wouldnt be spit in half like it usually is when UFC and Boxing compete.

 

The aforementioned so-called bums just happened to be world champions - So what's really with the hate? Was Hatton, De La Hoya,Corrales,Castillo,Judah,Corley,Burton and the others bums ? You are blaming a great fighter for looking great against great fighters it seems. Oh yeah , by the way Tyson ducked Lewis for as long as he could. And after the KO we know why. And biting a ear to get disqualified and to halt another ass whipping isn't honorable unless you are a loser.

 

I cant answer that can i, but the popularity of the Sport has died down because of people like Mayweather.

 

No...it really hasnt, mayweather is the only star boxing right now, even bigger than pac because he speaks english. This is a fact, if mayweather wasnt around, who would be bigger than him right now besides pac.
