    None of them...a big punch on an unprotected chin will knock anyone out. None of them are superheroes.

    Yepper. Chin is basically seeing the punch coming as much as anything else.

    A big reason that McCall can take such a big shot is that he is always in sparring partner mode and never opens up, thus exposing him to counter shots that he can't see coming.

    If you see the punch coming but don't roll with it or do anything to absorb the shock, it's all the same, whether you see it or not.

    Mike Tyson was knocked out by Lewis already, i just wanted to see some Tyson nutt huggers say he could handle it. I also said get hit with it and not go down period. Ali would go down. He was knocked down by lesser punchers.

    Holyfield, Mercer and Foreamn are the only boxers listed who could get hit with the punch and not go down or be knocked out.

    If they were in the position that Rahman put himself in, none of them.

    However, most of them were more skilled than that.

    Seamus do you believe that was the best right hand ever landed in heavyweight history? It could have been but knocking out Rahman and knocking out the guys i named besides Tyson is a different thing. He landed right hands against Tua and they didnt seem to bother him. Lewis landed right hands against Mercer and Holyfield yet neither were knocked down

    Rahman was nearly out when the left landed, would definitely have been knocked down, but would have gotten up and most likely been stopped on his feet by the referee to avoid further punishment.

    You like to use the word nut hugger alot. I guess thats your favourite thing to do! :lol: Old, washed up, overweight, tired Tyson took a hell of a lot big shots from LL until finnaly going down in the 8 and even then poor LL had to push him down, so yeah he could handle it. If he handled all those Ruddock smashes, but since you obviously never seen that footage I will let you die in your ignorance. :yep

    To the guy who said anyone can get KO'ed by a big punch they dont see comming, :good Maybe not KO'ed but knocked down most definatly.

    No boxer in history could take that punch if they leave themselves open like Rahman. We're talking about a 250 pound man hitting you with full force, leverage and extension - a trademark power punch.

    No chance.
