Does Dana know there has only been one PPV this year in boxing?

And i'm sure Dana wont bring up the fact UFC posterboy Randy Couture couldnt sell out in his hometown and only got 400,000 PPV buys.

You know that they said boxing was in trouble in the 1920's?

    Thats incredibly inaccurate.

Dana White actually started this whole boxing vs MMA debate years ago in order to sell his product.

Boxing has just been defending its sport.

Dana legitimately likes boxing, he tried to get into it but failed as a promoter. But hes no different than guys like Arum etc, they will do anything to sell their product. And thats what Dana does. In fact, you can argue Dana is more of a scumbag than all of the boxing promoters put together.

That is just pure bull****, to blame it on one side or another is just absurd, to portray people who call mma bar fights and compare them to Nazis is no defending anything, it is stupidy and it's endemic in boxing.

Mma guys criticize boxing business system, their way of doing things; boxing just drops all intellect from the debate and says mma is just gay Nazis. The level of education and class on each side is 100% clear.

The education and success of the mma community compared to that of boxig is so lopsided it's funny. How many boxers have college degrees? Fans? It's far lower than mma. MMA haters are without exception uneducated, low class, and without much elese going in their lives.

There are things that Dana White and the UFC do that are bull ****. The EA Sports threat, saying "****" like it's a big deal, underpaying fighters, etc...

I don't see anything in the above referenced quotes that are unjustified. The UFC did switch main events. Arum, King, Mayweather, and White all talk ****. The UFC may do better than boxing this year, I don't know. Arum said the UFC is not a public company, so there is no way to challenge their numbers. Maybe Arum is right, maybe he isn't.

Boxing has declined. That is not a direct result of mma's rising. Boxing has been declining for a while. I've been a boxing fan for 20 years now, and for most of that time the media has talked about the declining state of boxing. The UFC is on the rise, and I'm not a non mma fan referring to the sport as a whole with the UFC label. I mean the UFC is on the rise. The UFC is growing, and other mma promotional companies are falling. I don't stating this as being out of line.

Being upset that Jackson ****ed up TUF's showdown is unreasonable?

I really have no qualms with any of the statements White made here.

True but it's this nonsense he spews about liking boxing which bothers me. Boxing promoters and boxers aren't saying "I love MMA and hope it thrives" and in the next sentence saying it's for "homosexuals".

If Dana said "I hate boxing and want to kill it", I'd at least respect his honesty.

Mayweather tried afew one liners and attempts at being original when he had those digs at MMA.

But Arum just played up to the bottom level uneducated ethnic peanut gallery when he started talking about "skinheads" and "gays" .
    Very poor stuff indeed.

Agree, White's said much worse than this. So has Mayweather, Arum and a list of other guys.

At first I was happy with the whole boxing vs MMA thing thinking it was going to mean better fights from both sides, but going head to head on one night sux. Hopefully we don't see this too often because it's the fans who like both sports that will suffer, I shouldn't have to pick sides and choose which sport I prefer because Dana and boxing promoters want to have a pissing contest.

It just probab;y says a lot about the type of world we live in when normal people just expect a company President to aggressively undermine its competition, monopolize markets as much as they can get away with etc, and actually defend it.
