hi paddy have,nt being on since the passing of Darren RIP being tough was talking to Paddy Hyland snr he was visibly shaken by the news said he met Darren the previous week in London. But your right about lads turning over hopefully it works out but they should realy study what it takes to be a professional boxer the hardship that must be endured just to reach domestic level let alone what it takes to reach euro/world level
Guys I just read on McCloskeys website, that the mbaye fight might happen in the meadowbank sports arena in magherafelt. That is 2 mile away from me. But I have Rogan tickets. Is it worth the risk on refunding the rogan tickets (can this be done, after the postponement) and then getting mccloskey ones, or will the date of one of the fights be changed?
just read on irish boxing Macullagh still calling out Dunne says he needs a warm up fight first well why doesn,t he challenge Paulie Hyland or Pajo Hyland for their Irish Titles Paulie S/B similar style to Bernard or realy test himself at feather against Pajo what you think Paddy
With Rogan/Sexton losing it's live tv date with Sky, is it possible that another network could show the fight or will Sky show it via delay? I'll be there on the night but just thinking it's shame this one isn't getting proper coverage. The November 6th date has really messed this up.
Im a big fan of wayne but id like to see him retire he was screwed over by t he BBBofC and he has never gotten over it. He had a great career but prehaps its time to call it a day.......
Taylor marches on in the Ukraine Friday, 18 September 2009 12:25 Defending champion Katie Taylor is through to the European Championships lightweight final following an 8-0 semi-final win over Denica Eliseeva of Bulgaria in Nikalaev City in the Ukraine this morning. Taylor, who beat Eliseeva 8-1 in in June to claim her second European Union gold medal on the trot, dominated all four rounds at the Nadezhda Sports Complex to guarantee herself at least silver. The Bray woman, who is targeting her fourth European title in a row, will meet Meryem Aslan Zeybek of Turkey in Sunday's 60Kg final. Zeybek came from behind to beat Aleksandra Sydorenko of the Ukraine 6-4. Taylor has yet to concede a point in the Ukraine. She stopped Kosovare Buzuku of Sweden in the first round of their quarter-final on Thursday. The Bray native and reigning World champion was 4-0 when the bout was halted. Saturday is a rest day at the Championships, with Sunday's finals beginning at 10am Irish time.

Just listening to the radio interview from Dunne's training camp. Dunne down to 7% bodyfat, and lifting 3 times his own weight ! Hopefully it shows on fight night.
Seriously, I would have more respect for McCullough if he just zipped it, he if well past it and quit on his stool in his last fight. Dunne is in his prime and has a list of great fights on the horizon if he can get past this Thai.

That would be a slim chance. Last fight I think he got in the ring near 20 to 12 give or take and I expect it to be the same time again for this depending on how long the undercard fights go on.
