That would be a good scenario if Floyd and Pac win their next fights. If they do, I would love to see a Cotto/Mosley rematch.

Yeah, and they'll get a lot more if he is fighting five more times!

Styles brah.....Cotto offers less in way of obstacles for floyd b/c he's just superior in the skills dept. Floyd is able to offset physical advantages easier than someone operating on his talent and natural ability levels, as PAC would be.

Cotto doens't have better boxing skills than PAC. He's just got that "classic boxer" form that looks polished, but he has less weapons than Pac and he gets hit way too much to really pose the kind of threat that would worry Floyd. PAC's style isn't really polished but it's effective and without a doubt he is very skilled. He's just unorthodox which would benefit him with Floyd....although Floyd beats PAC too....but in a more difficult fight than with Miguel.

I think Cotto's style fits Floyd's style of fighting better than Pac's.

Cotto is a more conventional boxer.

Pac is a damn windwill who gives you angles.

Possible Pac's sometimes odd ball angles might be a little problem, but maybe only for the first half of the fight. I think Floyd could really counter the **** out of Pac-man.

What kind of catch-weight is that? 154 at least. That's a fight after Floyd gets a few more WW fights out of the way and Pavlik has the MW title, and maybe a full jr MW title!

Hey, @ 157, Floyd could go for another division title if Paul handles Pavlik, but it's a crazy ass fight to take if Paul whips Pavlik!

Pac would be the much easier fight. He's smaller and less skilled than Cotto. To often when Pac throws the left he is off balance Floyd would make him pay every time. IMO Pac does not have the physical attributes needed to beat floyd. Cotto does.

I suppose perhaps more diffficult in that it would take him longer to adjust to Pac.

    whats this mean?

pacman will put floyd in the spot light
    cotto would be personal thing
    nah..

cotto would be so ****ing easy for floyd.... after the margarito & clottey fight this should be more obvious then ever..clottey is not as intelligent as floyd and clottey almost had cotto done.. floyd will counter cotto all over the place

pacman on the other hand is really hard to predict what he does... he's random as hell.. harder to get a read on

I dislike Floyd because I think he's a jackass, but I think he has the ability to counter most fighter's out there. He has great skills.

I think Pac would frustrate him more than Cotto, causing him to possibly do things he doesn't normally do. Like throw more punches. Thus, opening up opportunities for Pac.

Pac has shown to be able to carry his weight at the higher divisions and still be effective.

The catchweight is assuming Paul Williams defeats Kelly Pavlik for the MW title...
