If Moore beats Rhodes in his next fight(which i think he will) how do you see a Moore Martinez fight playing out? Martinez is extremly slick and crafty with lighting speed. Moore is very strong and tough. I feel Martinez can win a UD, but Moore gives 110% but comes out on the short end.
i think martinez is probably a bit too skilled for moore, so i see him winning on points on stopping moore late. he is getting on though so perhaps moore can catch him at the right time.
I think there is plenty we don't know about Moore, even now. For some bizarre reason he was kept waiting for ever and ever for a EBU title shot. He then shredded Piccirillo in brutal fashion, and slipped in an easy defence a few weeks later. By easy, I mean the guy had lost his last two by stoppage against lesser oppo than Moore, and lost to Gary Woolcombe last week - who has been beaten up and stopped by Ryan Rhodes.... co-incidence or what! After the Rhodes fight, which is a step up from his previous oppo, I'd like to see him take on someone like Cintron before going straight in with Martinez, if only to assess his capabilities higher up.
Dzuman apparently decked Woolcombe and no one has stopped him as quick as Mooresy tbf. I think Martinez would deffo be the favourite against Moore. Interesting that both are lefties though are completely different style wise. With Martinez's hands down style and Jamie's aggression you never know..
Yep, floored in the first round and only won the 8 rounder by 1 point - could have been a debatable decision, although the fight was never screened.
I didn't know that..... nor the score. In that case it is likely that there was a typical bull**** decision against an away fighter - even though the home fighter isn't going anywhere.
Martinez is a VERY good boxer. That guys been around for a while now and has built a record fighting alot of stiffs but he can flat out box. He has way too much for a guy like Moore. Remember what he done to Williams and Stone all them years ago? The result would be worse. Still cant believe he hasnt hit the big time yet.
I think Sergio would be a bit too slick for Jamie and pull out a middling UD decision. It would be a good fight though, and I could see Moore having his moments.
