The highest ring entrance weight Floyd has ever weighed was 148 vs Oscar at light middleweight. He defeated Oscar with a 20lb unofficial weight disadvantage.

If Marquez gets destroyed because of 4lbs, then he doesn't belong in the top 3 p4p rankings... period!

Are you some kind of ******? In the words of an angry Christian Bale, "What don't you ****in' understand"? Oscar honored everything in his contracts with Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao. That is why he wasn't fined a substantial amount of money. Floyd, in complete contrast, is being fined because he weighed in over the 144lbs agreed limit. The fight was already viewed by many as a mismatch, and you would have thought Floyd would have done everything he could to stay sincere. Nope. He weighs in at whatever the **** he wants because he thinks he calls the shots.

But you're saying this is all okay because Oscar fought Manny Pacquiao? That just makes beautiful sense. Thanks for that.

While I have no concrete proof. Floyd mentioned he entered at 148 compared to Oscar's 167.

    Taken from two quotes.

"I entered at 148, but I marked 150, you saw a welterweight defeat a middleweight tonight"

    and...

"Oscar was a fighter who came down from 167 against me, and weight drained down to 147 to fight Pacquiao"

At that time, Roach was Oscar's trainer. You can be sure Roach had Oscar put on as much weight as possible after the weigh-in. He did the same thing with Pacquiao, who had a 4lb weight advantage over Marquez in the ring, after hydrating over 13lbs.

Floyd lost a lot more than the fine with the two pounds. Alot of neutral fans that used to respect him like me will think that he is a complete ***** now. I Oscar weighted a lot more than Pac and Floyd but he honored the contracts. And in his career he was also badly out weighted in some matches (B-Hop fight). Hope Marquez pulls it off tomorrow!!

In other words you have no proof whatsover

Just like I can say Oscar was 150 and Floyd 187.

Pardon me for not believing Floyd bragging about his win.

Oscar vs Pacquiao was a mismatch too, don't forget that, and you all saw what happened.

Pacquiao came in over the limit against some guy in the Philippines early in his career. The guy agreed to the new higher weight, and on fight night taught Pacquiao a lesson by knocking him out cold.

I'm not saying Floyd weighing 2lbs over the limit is fair, but to call him a coward for that is ridiculous considering it's just 4lbs difference, and Floyd has been fighting bigger men his entire career at FAR greater disadvantages..., but it was all OK to you people since it was "In the contract"..., well guess what... Marquez AGREED to the new contract! :deal

Oscar got a lot of **** for fighting Manny Pacquiao. Many people called him a coward, but we're over that now. He took his beating like a man, and he's retired. Let the ****ing guy have a break. It has absolutely nothing to do with what is being discussed at the present time. Mayweather failed to make weight. Oscar did not fail to make weight. Close teh book on that one.

As for Marquez agreeing to the new contract. If the reports are true, and they changed the contract a day before the fight was happening. What did you want Marquez too do. "Okay Oscar, I'm going to bow out of the biggest fight of my career and the biggest pay day of my career because Floyd is being a little *****. Who cares if the whole Mexican public are on my side and looking forward ot my victory. Who cares if I take away a great pay cheque for my kids and my family. I'm not fighting him. I mean, I've trained my ass off and the fight was already put back because of that dick, but nah..I'll sit this one out'.

Get real! Mayweather changed the contract because he knew he could get away with it. He didn't want to make weight.

They're both cowards. Floyd is just the worse of the two.

Marquez might have demanded Floyd wear heavier gloves. Whatever the changes made, Marquez and Mayweather both agreed to them. You have no right to complain to either one of them! :deal

I'll say it again, Pacquiao did the same thing before. He came in over the limit against a midget opponent. His opponent AGREED to the new weight limit and destroyed Pacquiao by knockout.

Raheem agreed to Morales coming in over the limit in their fight. He went on to totally dominate Morales winning every round!

Counting out Marquez, or calling Floyd a coward, over a 4lb weight disadvantage is absurd!
