Catching up with TUF ...Holy shiiiiit !

It was a horrible fight. Usually with a cut like that it is stopped. It looked Eastman-esque.

Abe got taken down within seconds of every attempt and proceeded to lie on the floor doing nothing. Marcus similarly lies on top of him doing nothing.

 

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 13 was bloodier.

 

Dewees vs Ray was squeamish, compared to the other night. Florian vs Sherk was worse. Chip Tate's face against Matt Roland was uggh.

 

There was one point when they were on the ground and the blood was just POURING out of his head into a pool. That **** should have been stopped.

 

It was worse than Penn Stevenson. Cuts high on the head always bleed like that because of the blood vessels that feed the head. It should have been stopped though because that cut went down to Abe's bone. I feel bad for him as that was a bad bad cut and for what? Not a dam thing.

 

Eastmans cut was horrific but because of where it was which was just above his eye it didnt bleed half as bad. Funny thing is iv seen worse in boxing. I remember watching a small hall show once. Not sure of the guys names as it was years ago but this chaps eyebrow was cut from one side of his head to the other. It made Vitali's cut look like a stroll in the park. Iv never in my life seen a cut that bad apart from the Eastman one of course.

 

Herbie Hide's cut against a journeyman was pretty terrible.

 

I remember that. Joseph Chigiwathisname. Pretty bad but not the worse iv seen. Herbie was pissed that night. His comeback trail got cut short because of some lame journeyman.

 

Worst cut I've ever seen is when Antonio Margarito punched Sebastian Lujan's ear off the side of his head. It was like something out of a horror film.

Vitali's cut against Lennox Lewis always comes to mind as well.

 

Fedor vs Koshsaka II was like watching a ****ing snuff film.. They stopped the time like 5 times to clean up Koshsaka's face before the fight was finally stopped for good.

 

Mark Kerr vs Fabio Gurgel. Death by a 1000 headbutts.

 

That was an ugly one. The footage I saw of that fight way back when was so grainy that it looked like it was in black and white. It was hard to tell how gory it really was.

 

Bingo.

Dewees bleached blonde hair was red/pink from all the blood, it was dripping in the other guys mouth too. They had to have an athletic commisioner explain why it wasn't stopped despite 10lbs of blood; he was right too.

Just reinforces the fact that people who beleive elbows cause premature stoppages are out of touch with reality, that has never been the case and has gotten progressively better for years, dr's, refs, and commishes now how to deal with it. They don't cause anymore fight stopping cuts than punches.

 

The cut on Pointon in some UK show was even worse than Eastmen, plenty of photos and photoshops, but I'm on a mobile so I can't post them.
