I hope that Floyd making 146 changes your mind about fighters making weight. Floyd has always made weight until today. So many of you just talk about fighters, and say the easy shite because you are behind a keyboard(no offense to anyone), and you have not lived through the eyes of a fighter, and will never understand how hard it is to succeed in this sport is. With just one snap of the mandibles, you say Floyd can make 144. So many of you were wrong. Making weight after a year and a half long layoff at age 32 was hard for Floyd. Some of you have even questioned whether he tried to make 144. Now all of a sudden Floyd either does not train hard, or he is just that much of a weasel and disgusting individual to cheat JMM lol...:dead$600.000 out of his pocket is a lot of money to give up for 2 lbs.

Floyd monitored his weight, Floyd never intended to make weight lol... The man is 32 years old. Cotto making 145 while still in his prime should be easy for him yet it will hurt him. I believe that Floyd feared that losing too much at a catch weight is dangerous against a dangeroud fighter like JMM. Fans don't realize how dangerous this fight is for Floyd, and talk so much shite about him to the point that they truly think they are right instead of looking at the big picture. I'm glad Floyd weighed in at 146. I do not want to see an emaciated, dehydrated Floyd fighting the #3 fighter in the world who is moving up in weight. After the age of 30, your prime skills are going down the drain, and the great fighters compensate by becoming smarter and more flat footed.

People think that JMM will be the one to come foward, but it will be Floyd coming forward at first trying to draw JMM into an in fight with his jab, and when JMM gets caught, that is when he will try to come forward to counter Floyd, and that is where Floyd is at his best...countering his opponent. Both guys will attack and back off until they get into the latter runds. Floyd can be aggressive which people have forgotten because they hate him so much.

Roach talking about it's not in Floyd's DNA to come forward was comical to hear:lol:. Roach retired early as a fighter and he was a pressure fighter who bled a lot and was a punching bag himself. His opinion on this fight is shite, and I'm being real. Floyd is going to slowly break JMM down and JMM will have his moments early where his punches will be strong. Floyd loves to go to the belly, and the body attack, the jab, the left hook, and then the right will finish JMM off in 10. JMM has to take Floyd into the deepr rounds using his terrific guile to get in and out throwing those H.O.F combos he is famous for. JMM's chin is superb as is Floyd's, but this is a battle of the minds and I expect Floyd to win the war of attrition.

Note: Floyd-Dapidran will not happen because Arum and Roach will ask for either 145, and Floyd will not agree to this, and Floyd will move on to fight Shane in January at 147. Pac will fight Berto at 147 or Bradley at 140. Forget about PAc-Floyd as deep down imo PAc does not want to fight Floyd..unless of course that Floyd wins but looks bad just as he asked for Cotto.

he'll fight pac. there's no reason not to now that he can fight him at 147. he's got the excuse that he can't make weight now if pac wants a catchweight.

I think that might be one of the reasons he chose to not lose two more pounds.

    This crossed my mind too.

That would make for some drama, if Floyd (and Pac) wins and negotiations start for Pac-Floyd, Floyd will say he can't go lower than 146. If Pac agrees, Cotto would feel a bit cheated since he had to go as low as 145. Interesting to think how it will all play out...

Yeah, he weighed in 2 lbs heavier lol, that is the coward move. Floyd cares about his own health while you don't.

I don't have to justify shite. You PAc fans all say the same thing:lol:. Pac asking the champ ww champ to come in at 145 and put his title on the line is a ***** move.

I think Floyd could have got to 144 if he wanted, but now he can claim he can't in negotiations. He can say well, you give more and I'll take the risk of being "drained".
