Why do you think GBP/promoters hide this weight stipulations starting when the fight was signed and announced last May??

    Don't know.

Mayweather didn't. He stated it was a welterweight fight multiple times.

It had to of been in the contract, because if it wasn't the commission would be penalizing Floyd, not GBP.

Also, the commission would of given Floyd 2 hours mandatory chance to lose the weight.

Note the reason he didn't get a 2 hour chance was because he was following the rules of the contract.

    So yes I believe Schaefer.

good point, there was no second weigh in attempt, so the fight was likely made at 147, maybe Marquez was shocked because he was conned into some good faith 144 horse****

    Fail.

Mayweather weighed-in 150 lbs on weighing event. But weighed at fight night against ODLH at 155 lbs.

what makes it fishy is mayweather didnt present his contract to NSAC till an hour later then the original deadline the commission ask for and before that the NSAC asked for it in wednesday....marquez contract was in that wednesday as well, with his initials signed next to 144.....now marquez did sign off on mayweather's contract the day of the weigh-in.....but i tend to believe the NSAC...they are supposed to be impartial, schafer is not....his job is to promote marquez and make sure the fight goes off without a hitch....

Exactly. I believe there was a backdoor deal between GBP and Floyd's camp in order not to involve the NSAC (on Floyd's behalf) and JMM was forced to sign with it. If you watched tonight's 24/7. JMM was miffed about the weight question and told the press to go ask his promoters. I will go with the NSAC. They don't have any reason to lie here.

    yeah RIGHT!

JMM had to move two weight divisions higher inorder to have the same weight level with PBF and yet, PBF was again two lbs over the said 144lbs agreement..

Jmm NEVER had 140lbs experience and had 2 figths at 135lbs experience. YEAH right IT ISN'T TOOOOO MUCH

but PAC asking for 2000 grams lower is ****ing TOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!:D:lol::lol::rasta

You're the stupid for not being resourceful enough. As Floyd's pet, he should be ashamed of you.

I will scan the Ring 2008 issue saying that Mayweather should atleast be 155 lbs in his corner that fight night. It's logical to think that a Super WW fighter rehydrate atleast 5-7 lbs. minimum after the weigh in event (odlh is an exception in his pac fight).

While you going around saying that he never exceeds 150 lbs as his weight, you know you're LYING by not saying that it's his highest weigh-in weight.

Void should fight Vitali or Vladimir next, afterall, weight make no difference. Marquez has zero chance and this appears to have been planned.

To make the extra weight Marquez had to put on muscle.

We can only speculate... and I think the promoters has some evils motives in hiding this weight stipulations...

I remember Nacho protested about it one time... Nacho said Floyd is allowed to weigh-in at 147... I like to hear Nacho's comments regarding this weigh-in fiasco...
