    Froch: "Once I Connect, The Dirrell Fight is Over"

    Carl Froch is confident that on October 17 at the Trent FM Arena for Nottingham, he will batter mandatory challenger Andre Dirrell. Froch says training is going very well. He doesn't like some of the trash talking that Dirrell has been doing over the last few weeks. He doesn't think Dirrell will be able to deal with pressure of fighting overseas in such an important fight.
    "Training is going well," said Froch to thisisnottingham. "Dirrell has been saying he is going to beat me but he is in for a shock when he comes over here. As the fight draws closer it will dawn on him what he has let himself in for – and it will scare the life out of him. He is coming in to my backyard. He is on foreign soil and that's not easy. I know from experience."
    Froch plans to fight Dirrell with power boxing by setting up his big shots with the jab. He thinks the fight will be over if he lands a big shot on Dirrell's chin.
    "He says he is going to knock me out, but he's got to hit me first. I'm going to box him and get to work behind my jab. I'm going to be disciplined but if the chance comes to finish it early I will take it. If I connect it will be all over because he has never met anyone with my power," Froch said.

    Froch isn't the most skilled but he is entertaining and a hard man.It will be a fun fight.

    Is this a new statement? Because Carl Froch says exactly the same thing every ****ing time he's in prep to fight someone. He just changes the opponents name.

    He may say the same thing prior to every fight, it doesn't matter though because so far he has back it up in every fight. Froch is a hard ****er and I see no reason not to believe him again here ! Froch to win by 7rnd KO in a pretty fun fight (like all of his fights are)

    I'll be there to cheer him on too :good
