I don't even know why all the **** talking about Boxing vs MMA. In my opinion there is no need to argue about which fighting sport is better than the other. Obviously, White is a dumb idiot trying to make Boxing look bad in the media but the man doesn't understand that there is no point in doing so since MMA will never take Boxing's place. Ever.
And in the other hand, Boxing is by no means taking over MMA. Both have different style and different public, even though many people follow the two of them.

White better understand this and shut the hell up. I am just glad there is no boxing 'leaders' playing into his stupid game.

I hate to say it, but he is very right in many respects, UFC fighters fight, some boxers go in for a paycheck, but he is also wrong about in general boxers do not fight, show this arrogant ***** Marquez last 2 fights, show him Carl Froch's last 2 fights, etc, etc.

but Boxing is ****ed in that respect and he is right about Floyd dancing around, at least with Manny he ****in fights dammit!!

I have watched boxing since I was about 8 and I'm about to be 34. i remember ordering the Spinks-Tyson fight on PPV for 29.99 at the time. I have been watching UFC for a few yrs now and it has it's ups and downs. With that being said I do believe UFC is bigger than boxing at this time. They give you the matchups that you want and the fighting is nonstop in a match. Plus if there is a few moments of inactivity the ref makes you start back fighting. Boxing is always in my heart and I love boxing but it is too political and a lot of the fighter nowadays are very protected by their promoters and managers. I will look at both tonight from the house but I have no doubt in my mind UFC wil be more intertaining. I will always support boxing but the lack of quality matchups, bull**** decisions and too many champs (what happen to each division having a unified champ) has brought the sport down to a low that will not ever reach its plateau of getting back to the golden era (thanks to the amount of money involved). So yeah UFC right now is bigger and better than boxing. I do not watch wrestling at all no more but to say that it is better than WWE right now you are talking a totally different audience but that is a topic for another day.

Look at the bar list showing maywather/marquez

Then look at the list showing the UFC card

Its not even close. UFC is stomping everyone.

"Boxing fans are wasting there money"

WTF do you call having a UFC PPV every 2-3 weeks?I would love to see a hardcore MMA fight fans annual cable bill.

Its hard to argue against boxing showing us a fight "we don't want to see"

as off the top of my head I can name 3 better opponents for Mayweather

    Mosley, Cotto, Berto

Just like with MMA you cant get the best to fight the best everytime.Regardless if he isnt fighting those guys yet(this fight sets those fights up)this match-up is very high quality.

    that he is....

    [YT]Kl9Fo04WKO4[/YT]

just one of many interviews where he disses Kimbo.Called him a circus act..etc and now what??Half the TUF10 roster consists of failed athletes one guy who beat Lesner in HIGH SCHOOL wrestling and Kimbo the circus act.The quality of fighter isnt that great for that show so they had to bring someone they claimed they would never work with.

Aint enough Silva's and GSP's in the UFC to justify having PPV's every few weeks.
