So that goes for heavyweights too then? So Wlad is fighting with the advantage 99% of the time he steps out in the ring? So does that advantage just disappear suddenly when you are dealing with Heavyweights? ***** ass ugly mother****er

You can't say that just because they dismiss 2 lbs they have not fought. Maybe everyone is a heavyweight and does not know about making the scales!

I've weighed in more times than I care to think about.

    Boxing, grappling, BJJ, Judo.

Like I said, easy as pie to tell the guys who have from the guys who always thought they could if not for (insert ***** excuse here)

And I'm not putting the fight down, I'm putting Floyd down for being a coward, and putting the idiots defending him down for being nobodies who have no idea what its like.

Oh for ****s sake, I'm obviously referring to making weight, which HW's don't do.

    Another wannabe.

 Heavyweights dont weigh in. And if so the laws of physics dont apply to them. The bigger fighter has no advantage but 2 pounds is a huge deal for any other fighter but not Heavyweights.. It changes .. Dumb ass.

floyd will not put on much weight though he rarely severely water cuts, i reckon marquez to be 143 and floyd no more than 152, floyd does not like to go into the dehydrated weigh in process it must not suit his body the way margarito and tiago alves can do it

thats why we never see floyd taking fights with real big welters as he will be crippled size wise come fight night, 9 pounds tonight in his favour is so much considering you are faster, stronger and more skilled

Floyd weighed 149 losing 1lb against DLH, Floyd isnt a weight drainer and never has been Beebs, the most Floyd has gained was 7lbs at 130lbs, while not eating for 2-3 days. Has he got bigger? Maybe but he said he was 149lbs in his lay off, so that makes it unlikely, ever thought Floyd just doesnt like to starve himself and live in a sauna? Maybe he doesnt even know how to cut water.

Do you consider him a big WW Beebs? I dont, hes less muscular/thick that Mosley/Cotto and not tall for a WW

Floyd was gulping Gatorade in full view of the cameras right after his face to face with Marquez. If he didn't dry himself out as you claim, he wouldn't need to rehydrate on the spot like that. Floyd is not 25 years old anymore, he is jacked and will weigh 154+ tomorrow.

Heavyweights do weigh in you complete ****ing moron, they just do not have to make weight.

God you really are an idiot.

The bigger fighter has an advantage, obviously, that's the point of my thread. That advantage is multiplied when its a large percent of their bodyweight, as it is for the smaller guys, compared to a relatively smaller percentage for the heavys. Heavys don't put on weight after weighing in because they don't have to make weight. It's not just the weight itself, its the replenishing of nutrients after cutting weight, which Heavys do not.

Like I said, for those who have had to put on rubber suits and get in saunas, it makes sense. For you fatass losers who have done nothing, it apparantly isn't.

It's not just Floyd, its the advantage he gained by making JMM lose the extra 2.

JMM does dry out, had he not had to go an extra 2lbs he would be much better off tonight because he would have had a head start on getting it back on.

  12. He looked a bit dehydrated to me. Why would he start drinking gatorade at the weigh-in if he wasnt?

JMM is a lightweight. You been on MMA mode too long. He actually did the opposite to get to 142. He did not drain and he did not have to dry out.

You really just highlight my point.

Lightweights do not ****ing walk around at the weight limit, they walk around well above it.

In preparing for this fight JMM put on some muscle, so his walking weight was above the contract weight, ergo he had to dry out to make it.

Had he had to dry out 2 lbs less he would have had a head start on rehydrating himself.

Really, you have no clue because you've never done it, so just walk away.

The reason it is a big deal is that welter weight Floyd vs moving up Marquez is a mismatch in most people's eyes. If Marquez put on the weight and actually is stronger and faster like he says and his coach says its not THAT bad but he is at a disadvantage. Mayweather gets nothing with this win and he knows it, we know it. He already said it. If JMM wins he gets everything. He gets all the acclaim of the boxing world.
