As of right now I think Bute could handle all but Kessler.

I want to see how well Bute does in his rematch with Andrade. I think that is a very important test because the wheels are already in motion for Pavlik/Bute next year, and there are many similiarities between Andrade and Pavlik. If Andrade gives Bute hell a second time, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Pavlik tears his ass up late in the fight.

Eventually this is going to come down to the Bute/Pavlik winner facing the tournament winner on HBO. That my freinds should be an amazing fight.

I think HBO might be thinking ahead of a Pavlik-Bute fight in 2010, by allowing Bute some coverage on HBO against Andrade. I know its mostly a favor done to GBP but they might be thinking for a possible setup fight between Pav-Bute anyways..

When Jack Leow was on "On The Ropes," he said the long term plan includes Pavlik/Bute, and Pavlik vs tourney winner. Obviously Kelly would have to beat Williams and Bute to get the tourney winner, but . . . . ? It could happen.

In the past I always picked Bute to beat Pav in a close one. A big part of my prediction rested on the fact that a faded version of McKart was the best southpaw KP ever faced. If Pavlik beats Williams, and Bute struggles against Andrade again, I'd give Kelly a good shot at tearing Bute a new ******* in the late rounds.

I personally wouldn't wait on the tourney winner cause that takes us 2 years out and its a long time. I definitely see it in 2010 and maybe HBO would be tempted to make it in Canada again like for the Andrade fight cause its always a sure sellout and the dollars are almost on par anyways.

Best case scenario, in my opinion, Pavlik goes after Stieglitz, wins, and then Pavlik/Bute in a unification fight. Winner fights tourney winner to become undisiputed champion of one of boxings hottest divisions.

I think Kessler would beat Bute and Bute-Froch would be a pick em. But I'd favor Bute over the remaining four.

Bute-Pavlik would be really intersting! Youngstown or Montreal both have a good fans base.

Has to be Montreal. Largest venue in Youngstown holds 6200. The Pavlik Nation will travel. That's an established fact. They could do it in Cincinatti, but who the **** wants to go to Cincinatti?? Montreal is the right place.

Edit: MSG has already been mentioned.

Looked like more than 6200 with Rubio.

Anyway I like both places but MSG would really be big.Or Vegas or anywhere.

I used to compare Bute with Calzaghe as far as skill and ability (I actually gave him the edge over Calzaghe for throwing straighter punches) ... he's fast and is very slick for a southpaw fighter ... great defense but with most defensive fighters you have to question their chin ... what's the deal with that ... he has to get past Andrade for a second time ... I thought the first time Andrade deserved the stoppage, but he got the win and thats that ... this time around ... I see the same thing happening with less controversay.

If Pavlik/Bute happens, it will be because both fighters are hot, and it's a huge pay day. Based on that, I'd say MSG, or Vegas. Love to see it happen during spring/early summer in Vegas. I'd take a vacation and ride my Harley down.

Bute (if he wins against Andrade) outboxes Pavlik and possibly stops him in the late rounds ... Pavlik gets discouraged easily (Bernard Hopkins) - unless you give him a window to come back (Jermain Taylor)
