Landed 59% of his total shots tonight to Marquez's 12%. hardly got hit cleanly all fight long and busted JMM up at will. At most he dropped one rd that was arguable. All this after a 2 year layoff.

It is good to have the USA back at the top of the p4p list. Floyd reminds everyone that he is still the best total boxer out there. Add another hall of fame fighter to Floyd's resume. Next up the winner of Cotto/pacman.

They can hate on size but what i saw was pure speed and skill that won that fight. I was shocked at how mayweather dodged Marquez punches. This is a guy who lands at will against his opponents.

Pac only has a punchers chance in hell of ever beating Mayweather. There is no way on this earth that Pac could out box Mayweather for 12 rounds.

What also proved this to me was Mayweather composure throughout the whole fight. I've never seen him so focused it was quite scary.

    A BOXING MASTER CLASS

A lighter guy should be faster than Marquez was tonight. Floyd didnt just make JMM bad, he made him look poor. What kind of boxer can do that to a guy who is headed to the hall of fame.

Instead of all these hate threads how about showing some respect to a guy who was shaking off ring rust and still fought a perfect fight.

I agree. The way Floyd beat him is impressive. He out countered him, outboxed him in every aspect of fighting that has **** to do with size. Its not like he bum rushed him and fought a physical fight. I seen body jabs and sick ass counters over Marquez counters. I dont think Marquez know what the **** just happened. I never thought the fight would go like that. Mayweather's instincts and defense is ****ing insane. He weaved out of the way of 3-4 punch combos like it was nothing right dead in front of Marquez.

Floydettes please stop the nutnuggin, Pacman beat a younger and faster version of Marquez. At 135 Marquez lost his speed I saw it when he fought Casamayor and Diaz, at 144 of course he is like a turtle and yes mayrunner executed the perfect plan run run run pop shot and let the smaller marquez chase him.

Was it amazing to see Floyd avoid 3-4 punches in a row and not get hit once? Nacho was saying that floyd cant deal with multiple punches!

Hey nacho suck on your words. Your man brought zero, nada and embarrassed Mexico and you tonight.

Pac barely squeaked through JMM and the fights were very close. This fight was so one sided that it wasnt even funny. Plus floyd coming off a 21 month layoff. Give respect to a master boxer. The man is awesome.

Nobody's denying Floyd's skills, but c'mon man...from the size, the weight and him totally dodging the weight questions for this fight...was it REALLY going to be a competitive fight?

It was almost embarrassing to watch as a Boxing fan. Maybe Mosley should fight Juan Diaz as a tune up for Floyd.

Marquez is a warrior, and I had him beating Pacquiao 2 times, but he is no match for the p4p king, Mayweather Jr.

    Floyd's performance was a masterpiece!

I see the weight posts all the time. But really, your just insulting great fighters like Henry Armstrong, Roberto duran, Harry Greb, RJJ, I can go on and on who moved up in weight and fought bigger guys and overcame. Marquez was dominated. Remember Floyd fought at 130 for over 5 years and moved up in weight and still won.

Mayweather ran lots in the fight but that's just his style of fighting. What makes you so sure he's going to be fighting pacquiao/cotto winner?

But you forget something Marquez is 36 years old, he is not a young fighter going up in weight, you are so slow in your head to realize that.
