he has been exposed as a B level fighter. His speed is shocking, his chin made of china, reactions appalling... he actually showed Hatton was a lot better than him. To be considered a great fighter you have to have more than ''staying '' power, and all Marquez did was stay to get a beating, it was a shocking effort. Mayweather is a disgrace for even fighting this clown.
I'm actually dead serious, how can anyone praise Marquez after that? He was punching air all night, Floydd had him looking silly, Hatton at least had Mayweather thinking and worried until Cortez helped out. I never want to see anyone praise Marquez again.
Idiotic thread. B class fighter won't be ranked P4P#2 and fight Pac the way he fought, Casamayor, Diaz, Mayweather and ENDLESS guys. The guy moved up in weight and kept trying in the fight, never laid down for a MINUTE and kept trying and pushing. The guy has a heart of a lion but was overpowered, nothing else. They don't have him P4P#2 if he's B level. He was competing against Mayweather of all people and Mayweather look TOO good and still Marquez was there punching back. A B class fighter would have been out early.
