When will people realize that defense wins championships

Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships. PBF but on a clinic after 2 years away from the ring. People need to realize that Pac, Cotto, Shane won't beat PBF and its because their workrate will dop and they won't be able to land on PBF clean. His style is so hard to beat and he would be dominant in any era. I hope PBF can fight Pac next because he will put on a clinic Pac won't land **** clean and his workrate will fall as well. PBF took 2 years off and on defense never missed a step. PBF will damn near shut out Pac and make him look one-dimensional I've said this for over a year. If Arum was smart he wouldn't put Pac within 1 light year of PBF.

I hate how we're all blowing this victory out of proportion. Well, I say all of us, but mainly the Floyd fans. Marquez is a Featherweight. He's always been a Featherweight. He struggled passed Juan Diaz and Casamayor. He doesn't belong anywhere north of 135lbs, and yet he was expected to move up to 147lbs and fight Floyd Mayweather, a fighter who beat Oscart up at 154lbs not to long ago. This fight had mismatch all over it, and it's a slight on Floyd that he couldn't finish his foe off before the 12th. Well done Marquez.

Pac's style may make for a more fan friendly fight but it will be just as dominant a win for Floyd.

I could give a **** what he does to pack. I want to see him fight a legitimate ,in his prime welterweight. Not denying Floyds talent or saying he wont win. But you cant claim to beat the best if you dont fight the best YOUR division has to offer. Most people knew this fight was gonna be a blowout...Floyd looked good beating a much smaller man. More credit goes to Marquez for hanging in there and fighting his heart out. When Floyd beats Mosley or even someone like Cotto..Ill gladly give him all the praise in the world. But he wont. He'll avoid fighting them and claim they have too many losses or he's a business man whatever bull**** excuse he typically uses.

Im not gonna get into a 20 minute discussion about how great you think Floyd is or listen to you defend him cause its just gonna go in circles. If he wants respect, go get it, fight an actual top welterweight.

 

Again I have no doubt Floyd beats Pac...and again he'll be fighting a smaller man..and yet again you brag about it like its an accomplishment for him. Your reality is ****ing skewed.

I love that Mayweather has talent but to me that was the most Boring MOTHER ****ING FIGHT.

I take my hat off to PBF he was hardly touched by Marquez but he came in about 10 pounds heavier than JMM.

He was massive compared to Juan and he not once in my book Pushed the tempo just fought off his back foot.
