Did Anyone Notice That Floyd Went The First 6 Rds w/o Throwing The Right?

I noticed this I said in chat that Floyd was trying to imitate Wlad.

 

Did anyone notice Floyd won every round. OK the judges may have been sympathetic on one or two rounds. This calls for an excuse. Maybe he is just a dominate fighter no matter who he faces.

 

Maybe because Team Mayweather saw that JMM was KD by all left handed shots when he fought Pacquiao, and they thought that during certain points of an exchange, JMM's face gets exposed and is vulnerable to a quick left hand.

And he didnt really need to use his right hand too much, and he can hurt JMM just using mostly lefts. Throwing more rights could get him open to counters. He used his right hand more on defense, the first few rounds.

 

It seemed like Floyd was working on a lot of things tonight. His jab was outstanding tonight. This is the best I've seen Floyd utililize the jab. He even put good power behind it.
My only complaint is I didn't see a lot of combination punching out of Floyd, if any.

He did, he beat Oscar at 154. Why fight at 154 when 147 is where he needs to be without losing a step?

 

floyd didnt need to do anything marquez was too slow on the foot and floyd was consitantly backing up out of range with his longer jab with shoulder forward while marquez inched forward with a squared pace. and even when in hitting range marquez got some hits in, just they had no power to make floyd respect him. floyd took a shot from marquez and probably felt like it didnt bother him, at that moment i though, marquez had no chance, even in the close flurries marquez didnt have enough pop to make floyd respect him. what i saw was marquez looping hand come in for a nice counter to floyds shoulder roll and shell which was great but didnt pack enough pop

 

I never considered this, maybe there was money on the fight going the distance.

 

come on dude, dont come to me with that bull****, i'm talking about fighting a prime PW, who is far more skilled than the old rusty dhl floyd defeated.

 

I wouldn't go that far. If Floyd wanted to fight a quiet fight by his standards, we'd still be asleep right now.
