Floyd Perfect Tonight

  1. Floyd looked so humbled in his victory on that inteview with kellerman. Those two years were probably the best thing for floyd.

I seriously take my hat off to floyd, the man is legendary. Theres no need to act like a clown anymore, he's a made man in boxing history.

SS these guys just wont ever give credit to PBF. Many great fighters have moved up in weight against the odds and have won. PBF is one of the guys who has moved up. moving up 20lbs from the beginning to your career to the end is not uncommon. What is uncommon is that the guys who move up are still great when they move up. Armstrong, Toney, RJJ, Conn, Pac, Duran on and on and on have done it.

His sackswingers should realize that Floyd was a 4-1 favorite against JMM. The win was expected. The odds was the about the same as the Pac - D.Diaz fight.

Mayweather was -325 over Marquez (Most thought beat Pac twice)

Pacquiao was -600 over D. Diaz (Who was already brutally KO'd by Holt)

Pacquiao was -220 over Marquez and got his ass whooped :hey

Amen, my brother....to the first part of what you said. Mayweather won off speed and skill, not size, but Pacquiao would have more than a "puncher's chance" against Mayweather. He couldn't out-box Mayweather - nobody could - but remember, when pressured, Mayweather usually covers up and shows off his defensive prowess instead of punching back, and against someone as quick-handed as Manny, he'd have to b punching back, otherwise, he wouldn't get the decision if it went that far.

Strictly from a boxer's perspective, I love how Floyd fights. He is the only boxer I try to emulate in the ring - hit and not be hit. I don't care he doesn't take risks but it's how he showcases his defense and smarts.

The ******* maintained a high connect percentage while nullifying his opponent's connect percentage which happened to be Marquez. Yeah, Marquez.

Pac is my fav fighter. I watch him for entertainment whereas watching Floyd is like opening up a textbook for me. Textbooks can be boring yet you learn a lot. The only fight I would emulate Pac is his fight against Oscar.

I don't care how much boxing fans hate Floyd but he is half the reason why boxing is at it's near peak for the last two decade assuming Floyd and Pac fight in the future. Remember, it's the boxing fans who started the buzz about Pac vs Floyd for the pound for pound title. This essentially means boxing fans included Floyd back into the picture regardless of the IRS problems.

What disgusts me is that people have hyped up Floyd vs Pac so much yet they are quick to change their mind and ask for Floyd vs Mosley because of what happened tonight. If you have doubts about Pac winning against Cotto, you shouldn't even ask for Floyd vs Pac in the first place. If Pac happens to lose against Cotto, he should retire and run for congressmen. There's no chance he'll win against Floyd if he loses to Cotto who is less skilled than Floyd.

:-( Marquez was so slow last night that it was a joke, Mayweather was flawless but he once again settled for a points win.

Marquez is a lightweight, Floyd is a welterweight get that into your head!

I want to see Mosley - Mayweather first thing next year and watch Floyd take on someone who will make him fight and can match him in athletic ability!

Floyd just scraped by Oscar, and Pacquiao raped him.

Floyd beat Hatton somewhat comfortably above Hatton's best weight, Pacquiao annihilated him at the weight he supposedly couldn't lose at.

Styles. Fights. Cliche. Head. Yours. Get. It. Through. It.

I mean come on I love Marquez but let's admit he ****ed up in strategy (which counts and has a bearing on your atg or hof status (because imo most of the fight is accomplsihed before the fight)) but he came in slightly fat (see love handles) and slow. I'm surprised nobody said that in the last few 24/7 s...I mean Marquez looked like a slightly faster, but not quite as strong urango with his body shots on nacho. Floyd's getting way too much goddamn credit with all that's transpired in the last few days even a nuthugger's got to admit that....

Fcuk man...did you even watch the fight? Brutally? he didnt even KO him, many complained of controversial stoppage as Diaz was still punching back when fight was stopped.

Floyd was perfect. I wanted to Marquez to win, but right from the first round, Floyd dominated him.

Floyds movement is amazing. Marquez couldn't get anything on him. I don't see how Pac will be able to close-in on the range if fighting Mayweather.

Damn. I'd love to hear what gameplan Roach would come up with to fight such a guy.
