    Against Michael Katsidis ... I was wondering should Marquez move back down to lightweight and defend that title or go after another fight at welterweight or even light welterweight?

    I think he would do wonderfully at 140. Coming in in-shape last night showed me that he at least, most likely is roughly the same size as most others at 140. Still tricky as hell with many of his punches and still dangerous

    Yeah Marquez should go down to 135 and defend the title
    i would love to see him against Katsidis and his relentless pressure

    Fight Katsidis, beat him, then go for a title in his 4th division at 140. Win or lose...retire after that.

    That makes sense. A Katsidis fight would attract interest among hard core fans - it's a good fight against a beatable opponent. Then take the best at 140.

    JMM & Katsidis would make for an all-action type of fight. Winner should face Valero and unify the belts.

    I love Katsidis. I don't really want to see him in the ring with JMM. That's a pretty bad mis-match. JMM is far too technically advanced, and a counterpuncher. Katsidis' style plays right into his hands. Or gloves, as the case may be.

    I think Hatton may be interested in fighting Marquez after last night's fight. The sad thing is that Hatton would probably get KO'd by Marquez at this juncture.

    I'd have to agree with you but at his age,after bulking up and the beating he took Marquez might be really past it.

    He also cuts very easily now.

    JMM is going to continue following Manny. I see no reason for JMM to stay in a division he has cleaned out. He might as well see what he can do at 140. I wouldn't mind seeing JMM vs. Alexander, Bradley, Khan, or Urango.

    whilst i would like to see him fight katsidis. for marquez to drop like 8-9 pounds could possibly ruin him. and the notion of him dropping the weight, defending the titles and then moving up again sounds pretty ridiculous (prime fighters rarely do that, let alone a 36 year old).

    JMM should stay at Lightweight, and I'd love to see him fight Katsidis.
