You are lying. Everyone say Floyd needs to fight this guy and when he makes them look ordinary. They say he was wearing down from all of this battles or he was too small, he was too big etc.

Great performance but that was expected, for FLoyd...Vs PAC's DOMINATING performances who NO ONE EXPECTED that. And against the two guys that gave Floyd ample trouble and lost rounds against (Ricky and DLH). Sure ......Juan gave PAC a handful a yrs ago but that was a completely different world and fighter PAC faced at the lower weights.

Agree. Even if Mayweather wins against Pacquiao, since they're not the same size, it wouldn't necessary give the number one status to Mayweather. It depends how he wins it. Mayweather proved yesterday the 21 months break didn't make him lose anything of his boxing abilities. He didn't stop Marquez though, a guy 2 weight classes below him. If he wins against Mosley, Williams or Cotto, I'll give him the number one spot. Not now.

 

With all the advantages PBF had, he couldn't even put Marquez down. And that was at a weight way outside Marquez's comfort zone. You've all seen how hard Marquez had to work to get himself into shape.

If PBF were the one going up in weight defeating all these fighters impressively, and Pac were the one who came off from retirement and defeated a blown up featherweight in a one-sided mismatch, imagine what people would say? Pac had to work hard for his wins. Floyd wouldn't even toil to make 144 lbs against a natural jr lightweight.
