Nobody is looking at this as his best win. This was a good outing and he showed that he has not lost a step. That is it.

 

Two pounds isn't going to be the difference between a competitive fight and a complete whitewash. Floyd landed almost 60% of his punches compared to 12% for Marquez. Marquez didn't win one round and was landing in the single digits pretty much every round. Had Floyd decided to lose thos extra two lbs, Marquez would've won 1 or 2 rounds instead of none.

It was a good win, although I was quite surprised at how much he dominated him.


I find it funny though you call it a Pac left over yet in most everyones eyes he won the last fight.

And nearly everyone says Floyd doesn't have the same power and is slower than Pac.

So Floyd who is slower and doesn't punch as hard as Pac according to you, didn't finish Marquez.

Good win for floyd but everybody knew it was a mismatch the minute they annouce the fight is on.

 

I don't care if people take the win seriously. I don't even rate it very highly. However, I get bothered by inconsistency. Don't come out and say it will be a competitive fight and then totatlly dicredit Floyd after he blows Marquez out the water. The two lbs. helped Floyd, but not that much. Continue making excuses though; anything you need to tell yourself to justify your flip flopping.
