Amazing that we go all this time without big good shows on tv and sround the cities then we get these two on the same night in the same town. Warren, Matchroom and sky should be flogged.

I think Matchroom and McCloskey were always promised that date by SKY but Warren tried to muscle in[after Rogan got injured and had to postpone his original date] as Matchroom were slow announcing there promotion.:nut

It will, those Derry ones will go nuts for McCloskey, it was the same for Duddy when he fought at the Kings Hall against Eastman.

id be inclined to agree with you on that one, Warren acted on the assumption sky would be after the rogan fight way more than mccloskey but fair play to matchroom for standing their ground. franks second guessing people backfired here it seems. will be interesting to see if he moves the rogan fight to the saturday or gets bbcNI in on it or asks for some sort of split feed, although thats highly unlikely imo.

interesting to see the reaction mccloskey gets and if he wins the following he could have. sky could be back a few times with him as a bit of a cash cow id say with the people up from derry and dungiven areas he could consistently fill the kings hall. does anyone know the capacity of this meadowbank place?
