I honestly think that he just got older I dont think he can get down to 144 right now, not with 2 years away from the sport, and in those two years he has only moved closer to his mid 30's

When you get into your late 20's and early 30's your body does what it wants to its no longer easier to move down in weight like that.
I honestly do not think he could have made the weight looking at Floyd last night even knowing he had some food and drank some water he still looked to me at least a bit drained.

600k is a lot of money for a guy who cant pay the irs and is geting cars repoed.

  3. Very true. Deep down, Mayweather didn't think Marquez would be that easy.

because at this point in his life he weighs between 140 and 147 when he "weighs" in. Do you "understand?"

Why? is it more difficult to establish a calorie deficit as you get older?

Not necessarily true, you can still move down in weigh. When you are someone like Floyd though, who has little body fat, you'd be losing muscle and strength and that's not to your best advantage.

Floyd refused to weight in last night. hat should tell you that he weight more then 146 the previous day. I bet he was around 150 or better last night.

That's not what you were alluding to, but Margarito-Marquez is that fair? Margarito makes 147 so why not fight him?

He is a natural WW because he cannot get below 146, therefore however you try and flip it around in your head HE IS A NATURAL WELTER. Why is this even a debate?

No its just that your metabolisim slows down as you get older then when you consider he hasnt been in the gym the entire time off, or he wasnt training on the same levels as he did prior to retirement there is going to be some extra weight he put on.
Like I said he had basicly six months to take the weight off, and as much as Floyd loves money I doubt he did this to have an advantage I really think he tried to take off that weight, but he couldnt do it with out putting himself in that red zone...

Thats exactly what I was saying~

  12. I can agree with this. First time Mayweather pulled that off. What we do know, before JMM vs Mayweather wen't down, Mayweather has never weighing more then 148 during a fight. He weighed in at 150 against DLH, came into the ring at 148. He was a big WW then, maybe he is now. His body could have matured for all we know but I agree, I believe he was 150 last night.

I think he was 152 last night, he did not look bigger than any fight I can remember but what gets me is that he looked faster. I mean its not even looking at Marquez it seemed every aspect of his game was sharper and better. Kind of insane if you ask me.

Why didn't Floyd make 144? He said in press conference he couldn't.
