I think a lot of people forgot Manny has a tough test before him on Nov 14. They are not giving Cotto a slight chance on this one. It wont be easy for Pac and you can bet your ass on it!!!!:bbb

I think Cotto spoils the Pac-PBF party. He's bein overlooked.

I'm not a Cotto fan but I agree with you. However if Pac beats Cotto in impressive fashion he has to be taken even more seriously than he is now. But yes November 14th will be a tough fight for Pac. He's not gonna treat Cotto the way he did Diaz, Delahoya, & Hatton. I think Pac will win but he has to be careful with Cotto.

If Cotto KOs Pacquiao and than calls out mayweather a Cotto-Mayweather fight would be huge in itself...

and than at least people wouldnt be able to criticise Floyd for fighting smaller guys...

I dont think that Pac will beat Cotto.
    Cotto is no Ricky Hatton.
He does not lead with his face.
He can box and possesses great skills.
    Stronger and hits much harder.
    Pac maybe be getting KO'd.

Win or lose I dont really see Floyd vs Pac ever taking place. There is going to be the money issue, there is going to be a weight issue. Besides floyd really has nothing to gain in fighting Pac. The reason that I say that is it will be the same story different fighter...floyd would in the end dominate Pac and the talk will be Floyd still hasnt fought a REAL welterweight.

With that being said, I think that Cotto will win the fight and make it a mute point anyways. Pac has fast hands, but I dont think that he is the kind of fighter that can do the things that it takes to beat Cotto, I dont think that Pac will be able to withstand the incoming, it isnt going to be a case of a wild Hatton that is wide open for a sunday shot from Pac, or a zombie Delahoya that actaully weighed less then Pac at fight time.

Well I won't dispute Cotto hits harder, I do think Pac may have better one punch knockout power. I don't think Cotto would have knocked out Ricky Hatton with one punch. Pac is very explosive and seems to be only hitting harder as he goes up in weight. Ricky leading with his face is beside the point, who other then Pac has done that to Hatton? Nobody. I don't think he can trade with Cotto, however Pac's speed & power combined is gonna give Cotto problems. Cotto could get TKO'D in a very competitve fight.

If PAC loses to Cotto end of story. NO EXCUSES! Congrats to Cotto.

    BUT IF..

If PAC wins IMPRESSIVELY over Cotto then PAC vs PBF should happen. I don'tsee why IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN?!

If Cotto can't put him to sleep, I see a controversial decision being handed to Pac.
