Has your opinion of Pacquiao vs Cotto changed, after seeing PBF's performance? (VOTE)

    If you watched the HBO version of the Floyd vs JMM fight, you'll notice Steward implied that after seeing how easy Mayweather dominated the healthy, strong, p4p2, but smaller Marquez, he feels the public's opinion on Pacquiao vs Cotto might change.

    Kellerman said that while Pacquiao fought a weight-drained Oscar, and an washed up Hatton, that Marquez was fighting the truth at 147, and it might give you a false sense of Pacquiao's ability in higher weight divisions.

    While some analyst feel that Cotto is on the decline due to his performance against Clottey, most Cotto fans explain that performance due to his cut.

    My question to you Cotto fans is this. After seeing Mayweather blow-out Marquez, the man who gave Pacquiao hell, so easily at 147, does it give you MORE confidence of Cotto defeating Pacquiao?

    what poll???? and no pacquiao is still tougher than marquez at the higher weights, marquez was beefed up and pacquiao has proven he still has great speed and power at these weights. Also floyd looked alot bigger the size difference and weight difference were to much for marquez i knew this was gonna happen. And one more thing im sure cotto wont overweight pacquiao at the weigh in because cotto is really determine, this is something that really dissapointed me about floyd was that the whole 5 months of training and he still didn't make the weight, but all in all floyd is back bring on mayweather vs. mosley would be alsome and im no cotto fanboy jus in case im a boxing fanboy. plus good post am looking forward to what u guys have to say

    This fight is a total mismatch and I knew it from the start. Cotto's going to destroy little Pac, which is a damn shame. Greedy Arum deserves all the blame.

    Hasn't changed at all. I've been saying that Cotto is going to destroy Pac for months.

    Pac will beat Cotto. PBF-Marquez has nothing to do with them, and the fight proved nothing.

    I always thought it's gonna be an interesting and great fight, this hasn't changed.

    My opinion on Cotto is that his reflexes appear to be worse, he's starting to cut easily, and I think overall he's not the same fighter as he was prior to Margarito. (plaster)

    It's very hard to predict, because there are so many intangibles.

    Is Cotto past it, or did he perform badly against Clottey because of the cut and Clottey simply being way underrated.

    Is Pacquiao really a force above 140? Or was Hatton simply shot and Oscar completely weight drained and dead weight. We do know that Oscar was dead weight, but the level of Hatton is not certain. Floyd Sr. said that "C level professionals were whooping him in sparring".

    Is it just me, or does anyone else find it odd that David Diaz performed better against Pacquiao than Hatton.

    I was picking Pacquiao to defeat Cotto, but I think I'm leaning slightly towards Cotto now. Marquez really gave Pacquiao hell in their fights. In fact, I thought he beat Pacquiao edging it out. He's the only elite fighter Pac faced in the past year, so I have to judge him based on that performance. Mayweather completely out-classed Marquez, which makes me think Pacquiao isn't as good as the public thinks. He did lose to an washed up Morales, after-all!

    Where they are going wrong is Pac moving up the weight is totally different to Marquez doing so, he seems alot more natural around the 140 mark than Marquez was ever going to be, different bodies, different people, different ages etc

    The problem is, we don't know how Marquez would have performed against the weight-drained dead weight Oscar, or that version of Hatton who was almost KO'd by journeyman Lazcano after Floyd destroyed him.

    We also don't know if Floyd would embarrass and make Pacquiao look like a complete amateur the way he did Marquez.

    That's why I feel this fight is hard to predict based on comparing their performances against different opponents. They fought completely different levels of competition in the higher weights.

    More or less the way I see it.

    My opinion on Cotto-Floyd was that it's a toss up. I tend to favor Pacquiao ever so slightly.

    I fully anticipated a one-sided exhibition from Floyd, exactly as we got, so this did nothing to change my views on Pac-Cotto. I still envision a competitive tough fight that can go either way, and I think the first four rounds will tell the whole story.

    If Cotto cannot seriously hurt Pac in the first 4, he's in trouble. Likewise, if Manny CAN hurt Cotto in the first 4, he's probably in even bigger trouble.

    Cotto will defeat Manny Pac by UD. It will be a GREAT CLOSE fight with a lot of controversy. Both guys won't get knocked out since they both will respect each others arsenal and fight smart on both sides. Both guys are good at countering and picking their spots...I can't wait for this fight! ahhh fml

    Cotto is a little on the slide and he doesn't have anywhere near the skill of Mayweather. It's night-and-day.

    It's still a tough fight for Pacquiao, but his speed is likely too much. Foot speed more so than just hand speed. Cotto always sets himself when he throws. I expect Pacquiao to dance around him. Pacman has the great in-and-out rhythm that should work well against Cotto.

    I still favor Pacquiao by stoppage.

    What does this bout gotta do with Cotto-Pacquiao's perspective at the first place. It's not even gonna change w/e outcome for that bout.

    Mayweather handpicked Marquez. Why are people acting like Mayweather beat Pacman and not Marquez?
