I respect Shane, but I have never seen him behave so classless. First he begs for a fight with Pacman, now he rudely interupts Money Mayweather's post fight interview pleading for a fight. Shane had his opporunity, he loss to Cotto. Had he beat Cotto both Floyd and Manny would have no choice but to fight him, but he LOSS. He defeated a cheat so that victory lacks thunder. Shane has no bargaining power, he is not a strong pay per view draw and the best victory on his resume is De La Hoya, who he stepped aside for when he had an opportunity to fight Floyd. I think Shane needs the money after a costly divorce, plus he is on the back end of his stellar career. But the fact remains he blew his opportunity when he allowed Cotto to defeat him, plus Margarito plaster glove fiasco diminished his spectacular performance. So now he must wait.

I blame Hopkins. He was forcing shane to say that stuff in the post fight interview.

    Bull****.

The fact that people now seem more interested in Floyd-Shane than Pac-Floyd speaks volumes about the fact that Mosley most certainly did NOT hurt himself.

The number of threads already made on this encounter is all the proof you need.

It created buzz for this fight--MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Hopkins definetly instigated it, but Mosley has no other options. He's the WW Champion and he's having trouble finding big fights. Floyd seems to respond to being called out.

He's 38 and wants to make money, offcourse he calls them out.

But lol saying losing thunder from the W over Margarito is exagerating.

why is it so bad for shane to call out mayweather he didnt seem so "classless" to me..mayweather always talks about no one calling him out and now that someone does he gets all sad becouse shane is ruining his "time in the spot light"

    WTF????

wait wait wait..... when shane keeps his mouth shut, people say hes not calling anybody out and, he doesnt get the fights he wants..

hes asked with CLASS on national tv before, this year, for a fight with mayweather, hes the freakin' WW champ, and he wants to fight mayweather.

what the hell is he supposed to do? he wants to fight.... isnt it mayweather who says people need to call him out? damn... seems kinda to me that mosly gets hated on for not saying ****, and hated on for putting mayweather on the spot.

Shane's not a PPV draw and Floyd is?

I think that people are blinded by the DLH and Hatton PPV numbers, which were indicative mostly of the massive followings that DLH and Hatton brought.

The three PPV's prior to DLH for Mayweather, none went over 400,000 buys.

So without a major opponent such as DLH and Hatton who brought their own massive followings, Floyd is NOT a PPV draw himself.

So who cares what Shane brings to the table as it pertains to PPV #'s?

the simple fact that the hardcore fans want Mosley/Mayweather, but the world wants Pacquiao/Mayweather.
Big difference. shane needs to focus on one fight at a time.
floyd must fight the winner of pac vs cotto. cotto beat mosely- what kind of math or logic is that- you lose to a fighter but beat the guy who beat you so your ranked higher? LOL

begging pacman, pleading with mayweather and side stepping williams (who has called shane out all freakin year) is comical- he did not want a rematch with in nyc- did not want to fight clottley or berto (all 3 ww champs) or williams (which he said on tv "i have no interest in fighting williams") yet crying no one wants to fight him- NO HOMIE THE 2 PEOPLE YOU WANT TO FIGHT DONT WANT TO FIGHT YOU

Mosley didn't exactly crash it with classlessness, like Marvin Shabazz in Great White Hype. He was standing nearby in the ring as the GBP partners often do after a big fight, and when Kellerman brought up Mosley, Mayweather signalled Mosley over to him and they shook hands.

Mosley just asked for a fight and said the fans want it, it was Hopkins that really instigated it more.

It's about time boxers do that - Mosley needs to keep it fresh in the press too, advising that he's happy to get terms settled with Mayweather, that he will sit with Ellerbe and Oscar and work out the deal and that they can get the fight done before December, leaving the victor to fight Cotto/Pacquaio in the early new year.

Very much crap. Floyd fought Zab Judah coming off a loss to Baldomir so don't give me any crap that Shane lost his chance at Floyd because he lost to a top welterweight in Cotto. Shane is the LINEAL & RECOGNIZED champ at 147. Bottom line. Shane beating a cheater in Margarito lacking thunder my ass. Who else ever did that Margarito?

NOBODY. Cotto couldn't even hurt Marg like that and Shane whipped his ass. You say that victory lacks thunder? So what are you saying? Shane whipping Marg's ass was for nothing?

I CALL BULL****!! Shane is the champ and deserves a Mayweather fight. Shane stepping to Floyd is what had to be done. Floyd always did say if anyone wants a fight then challenge him right? So what's the problem? Shane did it in front of the world and Floyd didn't seem to cool with that. Infact, he looked kind of uncomfortable with Shane calling him out. Last time someone openly "challenged" Floyd, it was Ricky Hatton and Floyd fought him with no problem at all. Shane deserves a fight and did what had to be done.
