How much respect will PBF lose if he never fights Cotto/Pac, Williams or Mosley?

OK, he's back. On top of the boxing world to some extent. Able to make any fight he wants too as he guarantees money for any opponent. It's all wide open for him. The opportunity is there for him to further shoot up the ATG lists.

We have the winner of Cotto/Pacman. A pick'em fight and whoever wins would make a MEGA fight with PBF. Then there is PW. A true test for PBF. Then there is poor Mosley, a guy who can't get no one to face him because he's feared. He now has to resort to calling out PBF because he wants people to listen.

So if PBF never fights any of these guys, how much respect will you lose for him?

 

What the **** would be the point of him comin back?...And,who else is there to fight besides the guys you named?

 

there is NO WAY any of those three beat him and no way he doesn't fight them...and they will be easy wins

 

noone...he is going to fight them but seriously...who can beat him...NOT pac...NOT cotto....NOT mosely

 

I don't know if he can possibly do that and have more than one fight. Who else he could face without becoming a complete laughing stock? Andre Berto is the only one he could just about pull off. I'm sure his intentions are to fight these guys or he wouldn't have bothered.

 

I'm not interested in your speculation, I just want Floyd to sign some contracts and test himself. All my favorite fighters do it, perhaps Mayweather would gain my undivided attention if he followed suit.

 

What you fail to realize is that he has been tested...At 130 he fought a game and undefeated Diego Corrales and was an underdog..HE GOT THE KO...at 135 he fought a close decision over JLC and than rematched him and beat him even more convincing the 2nd time...He fought Oscar at 154 and he fought an undefeated Ricky Hatton that was ranked 8 or 9 in the world at the time I believe.....He also fought and beat a game Genaro Hernandez who was undefeated at 130lbs...He TKO'd him in 8 n made him quit....You juss dont give credit to him where its due

 

Easier said than done. Instead of blabbing and saying how great he is, why not encourage your hero to go on and do his thing while composing something constructive on how your hero should handle his career. Blah blah blah...

 

I think you missed the 147 division. That's where he's been for a couple of years now right?

 

It would render his "retirement" and return one of the most cyncial cashgrabs in boxing history, which is saying something.

But I think he'll definitely fight at least one of Pac/Cotto/Mosely. I don't think he touches Williams - not that I think Williams beats him, but he's just a big, weird wildcard and the least ppv draw, so he has not chance.

 

its not that people dont give him his props for his accomplishments its just that imo his cherry picking is overshadowing all his success. I mean he is a WELTERWEIGHT

 

thats the only reason i dont like the *****. he hasnt fought these guys and still finds ways to avoid them. look at cotto... mosley...margarito..clottey..all these guys have fought each other...and yet its the guy thats the supposed "top WW" that hasnt stepped in the ring with any of these guys...

In a perfect world Mayweather will show his skills against any and all opponents..
In the real world there is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many obstacles that won't make that easy. (IE: Shady Promoter's/Company's & Money)

It's obvious Arum want's nothing to do with Mayweather.
If that's the case no Cotto, No Pacquaio ect..... Not PBF's fault.

That leaves May w/Mosley & Hatton as his easiest to make fight's. (GB)
Williams is another promoter, Berto is another ect..

youre right, no one can beat him, PBF runs faster than anybody he wont fight them toe to toe......what ever match up you'll make for PBF it will be boring.....even with cotto.....even with pac.....even with mosley.....
