Everyone can argue into eternity as to whether JMM was fighting a foregone conclusion in relation to his size and later weight controversy. Everyone can also argue whether Floyd will be willing to fight the best at this late stage of his career. All arguments aside, however, what are the top 5 fights you would like to see him make at this stage of his career that would make him great in your eyes? Here are mine, in no order.

    1. Williams
    2. Mosley
    3. Spinks
    4. Cotto
    5. Cintron

As for Pacquaio, I just don't care. I dunno why, I just can't get up for this. He fought the same two shot guys as Floyd. I mean, it was a little more impressive that he moved up and all, but both men were pretty clearly shot...

I'd most like to see...and the most meaningful fights IMO..are in this order

    1) Cotto/Pac winner
    2) Williams (I just think with Williams tools it would be a new challenge for him)
    3) Mosley

They are the only three I'm worried about, he could just as well retire after that and go down as a top 30 great easily.

I doubt spinks and cintron will happen but 2 interesting opponents you chose. both are taller boxers and i believe longer reaches? yeah? I dunno I just see floyd countering Cintron like crazy since he's slower.. spinks like floyd is also a counter puncher I still see floyd out boxing spinks. I see the bigger challenge with Mosley and Williams. I'd give Pacquiao a fighting chance :bbb

    Me as of Timing.

    Now
    1. Mosley
    2. Pac/Cotto Winner
    3. Pac/Cotto Loser
    4. Williams 154
    5. Kirkland 154

    thats my Opinion.

    they are the biggest challenges.

I believe Clottey, Berto and Bradley have No Chance.

    3. Williams
    4. MargaCheato (no plaster included)/Pavlik for MW title (if he beats Williams)
    5. Bradley (if he doesn't lose and grows into WW, which is possible cause he's only 25)

Everyone is entitled to an opinion how ever ridiculous but "CINTRION"??? This guy was maybe a challenger 100 years ago. As for spinks, you may as well have his dad fight mayweather cause that would make a better fight.

If the point of PPV sales were to make no money at all PBF might consider them.

    These are the only fights..

    1 pacman
    2 cotto
    3 Pacman(rematch)
    4 Williams
    5 mosley

    Thats it.

    In no specific order:
    Mosley
    Pac
    Cotto

There is not really much left after these three. Maybe throw in Williams there as well.

    1- Mosley
    2- Williams

I don't really care in what order, but I think he should fight those two even if that means to get less money..... I am pretty sure that if he tries to fight those two boxers they will postpone whatever they have in mind just to fight him.... we know that Shane wants to, and I think Paul will take the fight without even thinking twice.....

Cotto is not good for him.... people will say that he was already beaten by Margo.

Pac is not good for him either....... if Floyd beats him (which I think he would) people will say that he fought a small fighter, a guy who started at 106 or so pounds, blah blah blah, so there is no point.... the only point here is MONEY

Funny, I completely agree with you! I feel the same way the Pac fight really doesn't interest me. Floyd is a pure boxer and is bigger and stronger than Pac. PBF WON'T MIX it up with him and would win by UD walking away. I think people are making too much of Pac's recent wins over DLH and Hatton. I'll take Cotto Mosley or Williams. I just think he needs to challenge himself against someone bigger, other than DLH, who was past his prime!

Yeah....don't know what the hell Spinks and Cintron are doing up there....here's my list of who he could/should fight to prove to me he's as great as he thinks he is.

    1. Williams (To tall, too many punches, not a big PPV draw, Floyd will never fight him)
    2. Pacquiao/Cotto winner (Floyd will demand the larger purse even though Pacquiao and Cotto would be the draw, too much risk, Floyd will never fight the winner)
    3. Mosely (Old enough for Floyd to fight him, but Mosely's win over Margarito really hurt his chances at getting a shot at Floyd because Floyd thinks Mosely might have a chance).
    4. Berto (Too fast, too aggressive, young and hungry, not a household name for PPV money, Floyd will never fight him)
    5. Clottey (Way too much of a risk/rewrad ratio for the greedy "Money May"....too much risk, little financial reward, fight will never happen)

Now for realistic future Mayweather opponents

    1. Ricky Hatton (Has been talking about coming back, has a huge fan base, Floyd knows he can get another easy payday with very low rsik)
    2. Loser of Cotto/Pacquiao fight ( This fight will most likely end in a KO with the loserbeing damaged goods - or more so in Cotto's case....but loser will still be a draw and softened up enough for Floyd to take a chance)
    3. Oscar De La Hoya (Both these guys like money and I could see Oscar saying he wants to take one more fight and gives us the ole' "for the love of the sport" bull****....lose another decision to Floyd and retire again with another 20 million)
    4. Felix Sturm (Floyd would pull a RJJ and move up 2 weight classes and challenge the weakest belt holder at 160....than he can lay claim that its a "Historic Event" and he's the man at yet another weight class).
    5. Sugar Ray Leonard (Right age for Floyd....and Floyd would have a chance to prove once and for all who the better fighter is by beating the 53 year old Leonard.)
