I don't think Norton is thought of as "glass-jawed" but it's obvious that he was vulnerable against big punchers.

As for Morrison, it's difficult to forget this fight:

Moorer was simply down a lot, and not always against punchers. He made Holyfield look like a destroyer in their rematch which Evander was far from.

i don't think archie moore's chin was that bad. he got knocked down a lot of times MAYBE, but almost everytime also got up. i don't think he was very much KO'd

and even if his chin was bad. that being one of his very few weak spots then and in contrary to the guys you mentioned archie moore had a lot of superior qualities. moore is one of the greatest ever.. we can't say that from morrison and moorer

Michael Bentt was a terrible opponent, shouldn't even have got a WBO title shot. He blasted out Morrison within a round.

Morrison had a poor chin indeed or was it the subtance abuse or both,Bennt went on to get ruined by Herbie Hide but Morrison got rocked by everyone and Norton had trouble with punchers, very evident....Moorer did not have a quality chin....how could you even compare them with all time great fighters that fought a great quantity of fighters of a better quality

Michael Moorer isnt a great fighter? Come on you must be out of your mind. He onll lost 4 fights in his career. 3 to top level or hall of fame fighters. Archie Moore had alot of heart but the point is he still gotk knocked down alot and alot of those times were to inferior fighters. His record was also padded, I know he fought at least 5 wrestlers who had no previous fights. He had over 100 fights and still fought people making their pro debut.

Morrison losing to Bent was bad but alot of fighters get upset. Are you telling me that Morrison wasn't looking past Bent? If Morrison would of fought Bent again he would of knocked him out.

I know another fighter, Gerry Cooney. He was stopped 3 times, all by people in the boxing hall of fame.

Jack Dempsey there is no proof that fight was fixed so since you have no proof we have to see it how it was called and that is Moore being iced in 1 round by a average fighter.

Joe Louis was only stopped 2 times Mcvey? But how many times was he knocked down or hurt? Numerous times and that shows if he would of faced guys who actually had skill like Bowe, Foreman and Lewis he would of been knocked out more times.

Fist of Fury, this is Conns record according to boxrec.com 64 wins with only 15 knockouts which means he was a light puncher not to mention he wasnt even a heavyweight period. Foreman for example had 81 fights, how many times have you seen him rocked and holding on to a fighter much smaller than him who had no punching power even when fighting guys their own size.

Liston and Foreman never landed their best punch on Ali, Cooper did which is why Ali was knocked down. Ali was also hurt by Doug Jones a natural cruiserweight so is Liston and Foreman actually landed flush they would of knocked out Ali. So you can't use that as a excuse for Louis being hurt and knocked down often

Fleaman you are either a pedophile who likes it up the ass or a pedophile who likes to take it in the mouth. I suspect you are both. Now on that note you get ignored just like so many others. Type to yourself because you dont bother me, Bye bye.

Anyway Shannon Briggs was only stopped 2 times in his 50 or so odd fights, so I don't see how that could be considered a glass chin.

Bummy Davis Michael Moorer was knocked out by David Tua, Evander Holyfield, and George Foreman. All of these fighters were naturally bigger than him not to mention top fighters so explain to me how him being stopped by these fighters means his chin wasnt at least decent.

Tommy Morrison was rocked by everybody yet he only lost 3 fights? Are you telling me Wlad doesn't get rocked by everybody and I have seen countless threads about how he could be a guy like prime Foreman. As I said losing to Bent was bad but he over looked him and paid for it. Losing to Lewis and Mercer means he lost to good fighters. If you are going to say Tommy Morrison had a glass chin because he lost to Lewis then add Tyson as well. Tyson got knocked down by Lewis and stayed down. At least Morrison had the balls to get up and keep trying.

What about the fighters Moorer was rocked against. He was hurt by Cooper, knocked down twice. He was rocked hard by the light hitting Botha in the later rounds. Moorer was also knocked unconscious three times, one in which he looked like he was dead against Tua. He definitely didnt have a good chin. As far as Morrison, basically the same, guys that get brutally KO'd and hurt a lot by routine punches have bad chins, of course the size of heavyweights and their power has increased, but pound for pound these two guys had suspect chins.

In his fight 4 months prior to it, ATG puncher George Foreman couldn't even drop Tommy in 12.

Goes to show that sometimes the issue of a fighter's chin can get oversimplified pretty easily. There's not a soul alive who'd have bet on Tommy lasting 12 against Foreman and not 1 single round against Bentt.
