As you can clearly see, Floyd's reach and cat-like reflexes neutralized the counter-punching ability of Marquez.

Pacquiao was not able to reach Marquez with his jab or his left, so he was easily countered and punished.

Mayweather will be able to counter Pacquiao even more effectively since he's a superior counter-puncher, and due to his superior reflexes and reach advantage he will never be within the range of any of Pacquiao's punches.

Marquez out-landed Pacquiao in both fights, but was only able to land 12% of his punches against Mayweather.

If Pacquiao is ever brave enough to fight Mayweather, he will be outclassed and embarrassed. My advice to Pacquiao fans, if that fight ever happens, is to sedate yourself and remove all sharp objects from your household to prevent any chance of self-harm. :yep

Did fraud fought JMM at 126 or 130 or did he fought him at a weight JMM has no business fighting at?

Watching JMM and Mayweather's genius is awesome. That 3 punch Combo JMM landed on Pac was magneficent.

Floyd was too quick and JMM was too slow.
Pac could Move up But it just not meant to be for JMM
Requardless Same Result in any weight woulda been more competetive tho

Smaller, lighter, slower, older, shorter arms........etc... Is anybody really surprised by what happened???

The only think I am surprised about is Floyd didn't knock him out. I thought he could. But Floyd lacks of balls got between him and the KO.

    What's up Pimp C! :good

Nah, this thread is just illustrating that Pacquiao vs Mayweather is a stylistic mismatch. Pacquiao doesn't have the reach or counter-punching ability to cause Mayweather any concern throughout the fight.

Glad to see him bring back the pull-back counter right. Hadn't seen that in awhile.

I agree with you that it's a stylistic mismatch but must take place because it's for the fighter of this era. I think most Pac fans know deep inside it is as well and want no parts of PBF but will never admit it.
