You start putting those guys in then everybody has a case, I thought we were restricting ourselves to the greats.

Got nothing handed to him throughout his career. Tough ****er.

Anybody know how his brother (Gilbert was it?) is getting on now. Hard to think about what must have been going through his and his families heads around that time. Must be a horrible place to be when that happens

"British Boxing Hall of Fame" should be precisely that...if they aren't British they shouldn't be in....as far as I am aware Finbar was born in Co. Monaghan, Eire and therefore not British

I met a guy who was friendly with Robert McCracken and he (McCracken) said Eastman is the laziest boxer he'd ever met in his life.

We'll have inducted a fair few boxers before Eastman gets my vote...

This is were we are going to have a problem...I was having a bit of a josh saying Honeyghan wasn't eligable, but Eastman was a Guyanan and Banjo a Nigerian (you surely aren't serious BTW)...are we going to include foreign fighters who called Britain home, or are we just going to include native born Britons?

    I was most definately joking!!!;)

I think the easiest way to do it is to just say either a boxer has to be born in Britain or to have fought for a British title.
