if palvic beats williams it does not change the FACT that PBF NEVER wanted to face him (williams).

That statement alone nearly sums up Floyd. Maybe if Floyd acquires a new (assuming he has one...if so, fire him) advisor, or something similar (like an old school mentor, but I'm sure personalities would prohibit it), he can change this trend. As it stands, I regret to say you nailed it, and I'd probably just be getting my hopes up in vain to think this will change.

Besides JMM who has Floyd fought who was smaller than him? Maybe Hatton? Before that Oscar? Yeah, Oscar was waaaayyyy smaller than Floyd at 154. Baldomir? He's comes in about 160 on fight night. One fight with JMM! Dont act like Floyds made a living fighting little people.

Floyd choses his opponents. Why is he chosing to fight light weight boxers when he is a welter weight ?

If JMM weighted as much as Floyd did he would have been beaten even worse. You do know fighters lose speed and stamina after they gain a certain amount of weight.

It doesn't matter how much a fighter weighed a decade ago. Floyd is the bigger fighter. JMM belongs at welter just as much as PBF belongs at middle.

Floyd is the larger man so cut the bull****.

This is a mans sport, and if you call out a fighter knowing he'll be bigger than you, deal with it.

floyd s a better fighter than marquez- and i do think this fight was a legit tuneup fight after a lengthy time away. now that he has tuned up though - its time to fight guys we want him to fight- the list is obvious.

the thing people have with floyd is partly that he hypes himself to be a guy who takes on all comers- who only fights for money etc. a big disparity with what he says and what he does. if he said im fighting a lil guy cos im rusty - then cool . if he said i m not going to fight guys who are much bigger than me cos i dont want face larger welters- cos im not a true welter- then cool . roy didnt fight the klitchkos when he went heavyweight- and said that ruiz was his limit- and we applauded him for his integrity and honesty.
