Why do fighters like Tommy Morrison, Michael Moorer and Ken Norton

Tony Thompson and Ray Austin were Vlads size and he dispatched them well. Sanders had Rahman rocked and dropped before he ran out of gas and was stopped on his feet and Sanders did no roadwork for that fight because of a leg injury...Sanders had a lack of stamina and training and would have been an underdog in a lot of fights but he had the power/speed/and southpaw style and had a good shot to upset a lot of fighters...it would have been a long shot but he had a punchers chance vs Lewis and others as well. Vlad was overconfident for that one and ran out of Gas after dropping Brewster and dominated Purrity but ran out of gas trying to make the Ko instead of waiting for it. Vlad also got off the floor vs Peter and 2 of the KDs were illegal back of the head shots. I remeber a prime Mercer being out boxed by Jesse Furgeson and losing to Damiani until he landed a nose breaker. Mercer was durable but lacked skill. I think Vlad of present would have pretty much have handled him the way he did Brewster in 2nd fight, Vlads at a higher level
