I'm afraid you're dead wrong about this......

Styles do make fights, and in Mayweather, you have the same counterpunching skillful style that Marquez used to beat him twice......

.....you add to that, that Mayweather is a quicker, faster, and stronger version of Marquez, and that Mayweather unlike Marquez only does enough during a round to win it without going for the gusto.....and you have an embarrasingly long night for Manny Pacquiao.

In the Marquez fights for Pacquiao, there was plenty of scoring opportunities for Pacquiao because Marquez is a fighter that looks to counter at every opportunity.
.....Mayweather does'nt do that, he only counters when the coast is wide and clear.

.....and to boot, Mayweather holds the key for sucess that was exhibited brilliantly by JMM......the straight right hand over Manny's left coming in.....

Mayweather would be shooting that straight left over Pacquiao's left and turning poor Pac like a spin top.....

I'm really being dead honest here......styles do make fights....and Marquez was crafty enough and skilled enough that Mayweather respected Marquez' ability to come at him with a counter......

.....the openings and lack of technical tact is going to be too obvious for Floyd as he see's Pac operate......

Pacquiao really does leave himself wide open when he throws power......I see Mayweather's eyes lighting up and loading up with a big shot that going to put Pacquiao on ***** street.

Pac of course can play it not safe, but safer than he usually does.....but if he does that, he taking away the only chance he has to win, which would be to land a lucky shot.....
.....but if Pac fights his normal fight and shoots to kill from the get go, I'm seeing an stoppage by Mayweather in less than 6 rounds.

To beat Mayweather, a smaller fighter needs to be stronger than Mayweather physically....I'm not talking about punching power, I'm talking about the physical strenghth to be able to body up and bump Mayweather and disrupt his rhythm and timing.
That physical strenghth ability is what was lacking in JMM's jump to Welter, and I dont believe physically Pac is much stronger if at all than JMM.

......against the defense that Mayweather employs, a smaller fighter in stature need brute force to break it.....I dont believe Pacquiao can physically walk Mayweather down.

No Not anymore I would be okay with Pac never fighting Floyd but the fight will happen anyway there is to much money involved. Floyd Jr said it himself he said Pacman is to small for him. I see the fight going something like a hybrid of Floyds fights with Zab Judah and Ricky Hatton. Floyd Jr Vs Pac Man would probably be competative for the first four round with Pacqiuao scoring a knock down or two on Floyd Jr sending the *******s into a frenzy, by that point Floyd would adjust and outbox Pacqiuao.

I think floyd should be a clear favorite, but i want to see it. If pac beating cotto was a given, there's too much money and legacy at stake here to make it NOT happen

To those who said Floyd is a much better version of JMM who gave PAC 2 very close fights, think again... I think Floyd doesn't possess JMM's hearts, guts, warrior mentality and quick recuperative abilities... So you can't exactly say that Floyd is a better version of JMM... Floyd has a very different mentality approaching a fight than that of JMM...

    Hell yeah!!!

I know this is a very tough fight for pac, but saying pac should stay away from floyd because he's too good for him, is like saying BE LIKE FLOYD...

Yes cause i want to see him fighting the best guys available unlike the fraud groupies who just want to see fraud getting paid instead of wanting to see him fighting someone who can actually beat him.

Dude, the only difference here than in Pac's so called defied logic fights against DLH and Hatton, is that Mayweather is actually still prime......

......neither DLH or Hatton are of the counterpuncing type that would give Pacquiao fits......

....but I will say though, if Pacquiao wins against Cotto, of course I'm game to see the Pacster try his hand at Mayweather......and I'll tell you what, just as I picked Mayweather vs Marquez but rooted my heart out for Marquez....I'll do the same for Pacquiao if the fight is made.........

Hell, just in the case Pac beats Cotto and Pac-Mayweather is made......I'll start my chant now.....

    MANNY PACQUIAO SHOCK THE WORLD!!!:D
