in the pros I cant tell you, in the amateurs its even in that rule book, you must not bend your head below your opponents waste.

The reason it is illegal is because it forces the other opponent to either not throw a punch or to throw one with the risk of hitting at the back of the head. The opponent loses his shot, and a break in the action ensues, which is what the violator of the rules uses this trick for, to hit and then bend and create the pause. It is illigal and it does create an advantage for the violator. Esp. with someone like Marquez who is a clean player. Had it been Barrera there would be a lot of rabbit punching on Mayweather's head and a lot of points deducted from Barrera. It took a Felix Trinidad

to finally show Pea why ducking down that low only works when you are fighting a sportsman.

It was against Hatton, point deduction for rabbit punching Mayweather. Hatton was pissed and explained Mayweather was ducking below the waist. When action ensued, Hatton lost his cool.

Kudos to the fan that made this video, becuase it basicly shows you exactly why Floyd is so defensivly sound, he uses illegal tactics to get out of trouble.

And you use Hatton to illustrate your point? Hatton does so many illegal things in his fights that even though I don't like Floyd at all I was glad when he beat the **** out of Hatton.

Great vid's thank you. Fiar play to whoever put them together. Good work. But. **** that. "You're not in there to dance". In the pro-fight game you fight to the referee's program, not the rules as laid down in the rulebook. EVERY pro-fighter knows that. Mayweather is a dirty fighter. There are lots of dirty fighters.

    He's good at it though.
