Just look for vids of him, perfect for Khan to fight.......very shrewd from Warren with a good boxing angle.

I predicted he would pick G. Rees but instead when for Salita who is literally there to picked apart, very static and dosent have the huge one punch power to cuase major concern.

Its fair enough though......but i Hope Khan starts to shout about taking risks.....and fight fellow champions.

Its the only way he knows if he is good enough and will progress becuase whats gonna happen is he will get knocked out by someone nobody knows and isnt elite ala B. Prescott.

Anyhow......lets just hope after fight Morlales or Rees arent picked....or god forbid Murray.

By 'vids' do you mean snippets of clips on youtube? He hasn't been handpicked either- he's a mandatory opponent ranked by the WBA. I still see a one-sided Khan victory but it's still a good fight AND you are forgetting that Salita is a decent name in the States. Win-win situation for Khan as it's a mando, a name to capitalise on for exposure in the States and it's also a low-risk/high-reward scenario, IMO.

He's a solid rather than spectacular fighter, a good and reasonable first defence for Kahn IMHO.

Khan should have enough to get through this one and look good in doing so. Salita's a fairly big name in the US as well, so this is a decent enough defence for him I think.

Well im sure if Warren deemed it a big risk Khan would have vacated the belt.

As i said.....instead of letting Khan fight proper prime time fighters its going to be handpick glory days for the next few years.

Be brilliant if he took on T. Bradley or Holt in his next fight......but the likes of Murray, Rees and Morales are more likely i reckon.

If Khan can get past Maidana(Known Puncher) after Salita then I think Khan is ready for almost anyone, the main problem for Khan is his chin, skill wise Khan can trouble any fighter around his weight.

Darni, I know the whole world and his brother has seen the Prescott clips but one thing that always gets me is why Roach would bother keeping Khan on at the Wildcard if his chin was that bad.

Some might say "oh well, Roach is in it for the money", but even so i've come across a couple of interviews where Roach has genuinely mentioned him wanting to see Khan fight Marquez (this was before the outcome of the Mayweather lashing) saying that it would be a fight Khan could win.

....maybe Roach truly believes Khan's chin *isn't that bad*? After 3 training camps and countless sparring, surely he would have either told Khan to pack his bags OR keep schtum about putting Khan in with the likes of Marquez knowing that Khan will never make it as a fighter?

I for one am willing to see how Khan progresses.

Roach seems to believe in the kid, and well, that's good enough for me (plus the fact that I enjoy his fights).

I definately want to see Khan fight Maidana at some point in 2010.

You make a good point here mate. I genuinely don't see Roach wasting his time with Khan if he didn't believe that Khan has some serious talent.

Good point. I know Roach has spent time improving it, taking his shots, movement, working on his leg muscles etc.
