Anybody who really knows boxing knows this fight is a complete mismatch. Marquez drew out the blueprint to beating Pacquiao and that's being a tactical counter puncher with solid defense and good handspeed... pretty much everything that Floyd Mayweather excels at. Plus Floyd is bigger, stronger, has a longer reach, probably faster and without a doubt a more accurate puncher. Pacquiao will be completely confused after the first two rounds, he will stop throwing punches and will be eating leather throughout the fight. This fight is a waste of time.
That said, I would much rather see Floyd fighting the top welterweights such as Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Clottey and my dream match would be to see him fight Paul Williams. I'm not sure if any of these guys can beat Floyd but stylistically they would all be better and more entertaining match ups for him. What do you think?

It's not that I don't want to see it, it's just there are other fights that I would rather see Floyd in

Why on earth would you want to see Mayweather v Clottey?

That fight is way more predictable than Mayweather/Pacquiao...

I agree, I would rather see Mayweather fight solid welterweights.

Mayweather should fight Mosley, Cotto or even Clottey or Margo! Welterweights! Pac should stay in his minimum weight class and dominate. So should Marquez.

I agree with you. If I were to pick between Floyd / Pac or Floyd / Mosley I would pick Floyd / Mosley. It's time for Floyd to really demostrate if he is a true champion. Boxers are remembered for their big fights with true challenges. When someone says names like Gatti, Tapia, Escalera, Arguello, Sugar Ray, Duran, Chavez and a lot more they would say Ahhhh!!! these were true boxers and warriors. These guys fought bigger, stronger and at their prime boxers, not boxers that are old or inferior.
When Floyd steps up to the big names then he can be remembered as a true warrior and champion. If Floyd goes with Pac (Win or Lose with Cotto) then the true boxing fans should not support him by buying the PPV event. If the fans buy the PPV Floyd would keep on going the same way he has done, The easy way. He doesn't care about the challenges and testing himself to the limit and the worst is he doesn't care about what the fans want. His EGO is way to high to think about anyone else.

Mosley lost to Cotto. If Pac beats Cotto or even KO's him..I see no reason whatsoever as to why Mosely would pose a bigger threat to PBF than Pac. Afterall, if Pac does KO Cotto...it pretty much shows that whatever Mosley does, Pac does better...including possibly power, and we alrready know about the handspeed, footspeed, Pac at this point may even have better defense and it'll show that pac can really handle the weight. There's also the fact that Pac is a southpaw and akward.

Pac is the toughest challenge out there...specially if he beats Cotto.

Yup, I would even throw Cintron in there since he is dropping back down to WW. i wouldn't mind seeing Collazo either, he went all the way with Mosley. I'm just getting sick of all this catch-weight ****.

No. Mayweather would not make the weight and would be in big advange just as it
    happened against Marquez.
