i was even watching this fight with my family, and my mom who hates pro-boxing, was like who's this jackass, when mosley stormed the interview....
Maybe 8 years ago, but not now. Shane looked good against Margarito who has a punch magnet for a chin, fought hard in a losing effort against Cotto, and looked like crap for 11 & 3/4 rounds before finally starching Mayorga. Floyd will dominate Shane if they do fight. Those haymaker right hands shane throws will be slipped all day and floyd will counter that flickering jab that shane throws. Shane will realize quickly that Floyd isn't going to stand still and get hit like shane's last 3 or 4 opponents.
I'm not downplaying Mosley's actions but I think he's really getting desperate for a mega-bucks fight. He tried to get it from MP in a nice manner (not insulting MP) and it didn't work. I guess this time w/ FMJ, he's not going to be very nice about it.
pbf fears mosely more than any other fighter out there. shane matches up real well against pbf as he is very fast and much stronger than pbf. he has fought significantly better fighters than pbf, on equal terms and do recall pbf always creates the advantage for himself going into a 'dangerous' fight re: 152+lbs vs JMM-pbf is a *****.
Where the hell would Antonio Tarver have gotten by being "classy" with Roy? This obviously isn't who Shane really is, but when all else fails, you need a different approach. The funny thing to me is that Floyd probably runs a clinic on him, but hey...
Nobbody is comparing Mosley to Mayweather. It says clearly that once Mosley carried himself in a fashionable manner and now he gone over the edge. I used to like him, now I jus wish he'd go away.
Yeah yeah, I know, you only want people to post in here who agree with your OP and share your idolisation of PBF. Fact is, PBF gave Hatton a fight because Hatton called him out. PBF came out of retirement to fight JMM because JMM called him out. Shane is the #1 legitimate WW at the moment after beating Margo. PBF is fighting at WW. PBF has called Shane an Uncle Tom and disrespected him in many other ways - I guess because he can't play the race card unless he casts Shane as the bad/white guy  When confronted by Shane in the ring - not an uncommon occurrence when one fighter wants to fight another - PBF suddenly shows respect to him and shakes his hand instead of agreeing to fight him. Funny how you nuthuggers will find all sorts of reasons for why PBF shouldn't fight Mosely - this apparent 'disrespect' shown towards PBF by Shane (blown completely out of proportion by you and your ilk) is the latest excuse. So why, when Hatton disrespected PBF and called him out, PBF agreed to fight him, but when Shane does it, it's unforgiveable and ruins any chance of a PBF vs Shane fight? :think
Two weeks ago, everyone was praising Shane for agreeing to take on Clottey, who no one wants a piece of due to risk/reward. Next thing you know, HBO vetoes it (not shane) and suddenly he's waiting on a big payout? Everyone keeps harping on Mosley's actions postfight, but remember this: 1) Kellerman brought up Mosley to Floyd and 2) Floyd WAVED Shane into the interview! Floyd was otherwise off-camera beforehand. Mosley has one of the best resumes currently in the sport bar NONE, and you dare call into question his desire to finish unsettled business with PBF?
At the end of the day, in order to make an idiot understand you, you have to speak to them in their language. Disrespecting PBF seems to be the only way to lure him into the ring, so Shane is doing what it takes. People should be giving Shane props for trying to make the fight instead of worrying so much about Floyd's feelings. FFS, it's boxing, not a womens book club.
You're so eager to pick a fight that you'll attack a bunch of points I never made. Get lost punk. You stand for nothing. All you do is try to argue with posters you don't like for whatever reason. You know **** about boxing, so take your sorry ass back into the lounge.:hi:
