On the subjest of 'chins', icemax explained what contributes to a bad chin a little while back: lack of water surrounding the brain (dehydration) or deep-seeded nuerological problems. Let the haters have their field day but I personally think the way Khan was making 135 and also considering his size at the weight, his 'chin' problems were explainable.

Just my thoughts on the situation, though. I'm sure the 'china-chin' comments will persist:conf.

I dunno what the other posts said but there is no ****ing way I am buying this on ppv - and I'm a bit of a ppv ***** to be honest. Khan v Salita for £15, **** right off.

Unless Pavlik v Williams doubles up with it.

when you dry out, water around the brain is the last place to go. you would have to do some quite serious dry outs to lose water there.

drying out overall affects your sharpness, stamina, durability, the training leading up to the fight etc

Ah well, get what I deserve for believing something I read on the internet then:lol:. Making 135 was clearly an issue, though, IMO. 140 is a much better place for Khan to be as well, IMO:good.

But go it does. When your body is dehydrated, nerve transmission is compromised and brain function is strongly diminished. Just stick dehydration brain boxing into Google, there is a wealth of information on the subject.

Isn't that one of the main reasons they moved the weigh-ins back?

It is, but all that the extra day has done is to encourage men to fight a weight below their natural weight which sort of defeats the object
