Fury - Mcdermott rematch orderer

Do we really have to sit through that **** again...The sight of John McD's rolling gut just turns miine. :-(.

Good and sensible move, IMO- let McDermott have a second shot and see what Fury can do next time out against him. Get the rematch in and let Fury fight once or twice in the build-up and accept the sparring with Haye. I think he'll he a lot more sensible next-time out and I'll certainly be watching (albeit with the commentary down again:yep).

 

i think fury will try to keep him on the end of his jab allnight, hopefully mcdermott can close the range down again and get his shots off, :happy GO ON BIG JOHN

 

I think Fury wins easily next time.

I had the first fight 95-95 but, in the first 3 rounds, Fury proved that he can easily outbox McDermott. If he sticks to boxing rather than trying to look good this could be a very one-sided win.

Fury will win this. He knows where he went wrong last time. That is as good as it gets from McDermott.

 

Right move, ordering a rematch was the best thing the Board could do. Changing the result would have opened up a whole new can of worms.

 

It was an ok fight I thought Fury was very poor but a rematch had to happen.

 

Bit harsh to be fair. Imo it was a good fight, esepcailly compared to some of the domestic heavyweight **** we've had to watch over the last few years.

Sensible outcome, the board hardly ever overturn results so couldn't see that happening. I see Fury winning the re-match though which is a bit of a shame for McDermott.

Any news on whether any action has been taken against Terry O' Connor?

Especially now that Maloney has signed Price, there rivalray will be huge.

Maloney has got enough Heavyweight on his book that he could get Price into Mandatory for one of Furys titles within a year.

 

fury needs to take his conditioning seriously (dont even see the point in mentioning mcdermot) if he wants to be taken seriously. for example i was watching the fight in a pub in belfast where the casual sports fans take an interest usually, two guys walking past the tv

"you wana wait here and watch the boxing?"
"these two fat ****s? na **** that"


after watching the rest of the fight i couldnt blame them

 

If Mcdermott trains as hard as shows the same heart & determination to get close to Fury, he'll win AGAIN
