What happened to this would be a ppv flop?

whether you fought it was a mismatch or a BS fight the higher the number the better. Any boxing fan should be glad if this fight did over 900,000. The sport needs genuine stars. The early estimates sound great and makes me think with a strong 24/7 (they usually are) Pacman v Cotto can a do a mega number of buys.

It seems to me that Mayweather has so many haters that they would prefer if the fight bombed on PPV just so they could say ‘Floyd Mayweather is a fraud and cant draw’.

 

i would just like to say. ufc 103 was the worst ufc i have ever watched.....more shocking than this joke of a fight.

 

i love they way there are NO OFFICIAL numbers yet....we will never know what the official numbers are....much like the crap chavez jr ppv numbers.....

Thats why PBF must fight the winner and not Sugar Shane. Casual fans will want to see PBF v Pacman or Cotto.

 

This was a complete MISMATACH, and it was not worth anyones money. Fraud fights are nothing but hype. Everyone keeps saying this was a tuneup fight. Well why the **** is a tuneup fight on PPV in the first place. PPV should be reserved for MEGAFIGHTS, this was far from one of those. I keep seeing everyone say how "good for boxing" if this fight does 1.6 million or some silly **** like that. Quite the opposite is true, it is much worse for boxing than if it would have sold only 10,000 PPVs.

 

Go watch MMA Floyd Money Mayweather is the Face of Boxing....Point Blank Period. Pacman Made a good name for himself but ask any fan who would take the win!

There is a certain idiotic poster by the name of buxzer or whatever who started endless threads about how Mayweather hired gang members to drive his car and shoot randoms in the street for not ordering PPV or buying tickets, oh and the faking injury nonsense.

It did good and destroyed UFC, that's all that matter, BOXING whopped UFC's ass, all boxing fans should be happy about it. The fake fans who support certain fighters based on passport are NOT fans of this sport and are temporary.

Those are the ones that wanted to see this PPV go down in flames. Even the known floyd haters(that are not Pac fans) didnt want to see the PPV do bad. Mostly because those people are boxing fans first. *******s arent for the most part. Now Im not talking about Pac fans Im talking about *******s which isnt the same thing.

 

I have no doubt that the Mexican American fans bought a shitload of the PPV's I know that wifes brothers, her dad and a few of her uncles all bought the fight. However that isnt the reason for the large numbers, its because of Floyd. If it were the Mexican American fans then why didnt Pac vs JMM do those numbers??? Why didnt they put JMM vs Diaz on PPV???

I just dont understand how people can keep understating the drawing power of floyd, its getting to a moronic level.
