perhaps that floyd didn't broke a sweat netrualizing JMM and Pac was getting knocked around by JMM. Just a guess.

Those aren't even Floyd's two best wins you nut!:nut

Anyway, Roach is not going to say yeah, we will fight him @ 147. You have to start lower in negotiations dummy. Roach won't hinder the negotiations. Honestly, if there's a problem, it would be Arum, but he ought to be smart enough to not let his pride get in the way if they negotiate.

You cant always quote Freddie on what he says.

Sometimes he talks as a trainer, and sometimes he talks as a matchmaker, and sometimes as quasi-manager for Pacquiao.

He has said before that he would have prefered a PBF-MP fight, right after the Hatton fight. Cotto-MP can come later, he said. Because even if in case they lose to Floyd (big money fight), the Cotto or JMM fights will still be available. (another big money fight)

But if Cotto-MP happens first, if in case they do not win against Cotto, the PBF fight's gonna be hard to set up.

You see, MP has only a few fights left before he retires, and Roach wants Manny to earn as much money as possible.

LOL So much hate here. They'll probably fight at a catchweight. IF they fight. We all know that Mayweather can weight up to 160 ( This is just a guess.). Pacquiao will be too small.

Floyd is better off moving on and challenging Mosley next, talk doesn't do much, if he ignores them and fights/beats Mosley it's the MEDIA that will do their job and pressure Roach and Pac like the media are pressuring Mayweather for Mosley. Mosley just kept quiet, went in and slaughtered Margarito, the media do the talking for him now.

About Roach, as a Pac fan I always knew he's just being an idiot and clearly scared to death. One minute he says "Nah, we don't care about the Marquez fight" then hours later a full article with a video showing Pac commenting on the fight he saw and admits he's impressed and needs one MORE fight if successful against Cotto to take on Mayweather. Roach will be there to make ridiculous catchweight demands too, won't be surprised if he asks them to fight at 137.

Mosley next for Mayweather and if he and Pac are successful they can try to make the fight, otherwise go for other options. Like Mayweather has demands, Pac has his as well and Roach's demands are beyond ridiculous. At least it's Mayweather who mentions his demands, not him and his entire team.

If Mayweather has just ONE demand then the entire place goes berserk yet Pac and everyone in his team can have all the demands they want and still it's ATG quality and beyond fair. :nut

I like how roach says, "We took his best two wins (which he won decisively) and beat them quicker", but fails to realize that Mayweather just took one of pacquiaos best wins (one which many people feel that he did not deserve) and made it look easy.

roach has been trying to cop a plea when it comes to floyd for the longest

    - adfirst they didnt want floyd because it would be "boring"
    - then they wanted floyd but at 140
    - now they have the best fighter and floyd is ducking them

    cmon now.... atleast be consistent
