    Max assessing himself:

"I did not like my interview when I watched it on tape."

"If I was someone sitting at home watching I would have been like 'come on, shut up, let me hear the fighter talk'."

At least he realizes it. Hopefully he'll correct it, his commentating was coming along well.

Damage Control. Kellerman is STILL incompetent and should be replaced with someone decent like Al Bernstein or Steve Farhood

True indeed; after all, admitting is the first step.

I have no qualms about his fight commentary. The way he conducts an interview however is where I find him to be inept.

Same here. Merchant is a horrible commentator but great interviewer. Kellerman is the reverse.

Hell no man. Kellerman made a great interview! He never let Floyd get away with his bull**** answers and hassled him to get out the answer he and the rest watching at home the answers we wanted to hear.

His commentating was ****in' garbage though. He was sucking on Katsidis' dick with some of those comparisons. Saying he has one punch KO power, which he doesn't, and all this bull**** about being like Jake LaMotta...**** outta here with that.

I think Kellerman is a great interviewer and knows when to stop a fighter from giving a BS answer. He seems like a straight shooter wanting honest answers. I respect that.

Not allowing the fighters to further engage along with his self admitted negligence to mic PBF while he was ranting was inexcusable imo.

It wasn't the first time Max performed badly during a post fight interview. His questioning of Chris John after his draw against Juarez in their first fight was also poor.

Kellerman is horrible at both..and I'd like to point out that I've heard certain fighters say they don't like Merchant's interviews either. My recommendation: Get rid of them both!

Exactly. He's COMPLETELY incompetent. Any other commentator you could name acquired experience by working as a journalist or being a participant. Kellerman did neither. HBO needs to find someone qualified.
