In a recent interview with Michael Rosenthal Mosley blasted Mayweather with some choice statements.

"He should be ashamed of himself, I wouldn’t feel good about myself beating up a legendary Mexican fighter like that"

“C’mon, though. Marquez is really a 130 pounder. He went to lightweight to chase Pacquiao to lightweight. He’s not even a lightweight. Enough is enough. It’s time to fight real welterweights.”

    “He only fights hand-picked guys..."

"Mayweather wants Money but has an aversion to challenges"

“This is what great fighters do, they fight the best. Mayweather wants to go down in his story as being undefeated. ‘No one beat me so I must be the best.’ It’s not true. In the end, you have to fight the best.”

He shouldn't be ashamed, but that's the match up to be made at the WW.

I love Mosley as much as the next guy, but he fights for checks too, same as the rest.

Unless you think he had two matches against the corpse of Vargas and one against Mayorga because he wanted a, "challenge."

The ONLY ONLY reason I give mosley a chance is because of nazim richardson. BUt the reality is Nazim is not a magician and theres no strategy that will beat Mayweather using mosleys aresenal

This is exactly the kind of stuff Mosley should be saying. He's not going to get an egomaniac like Floyd to fight him by saying nice things about him.

I like watching the blood and guts gladiator type fighters, but I can't really hate FMJ if he wants to plan his career like he does.

If he plans his career well enough, he can retire filthy rich, with very little damage to himself, physically, and keep his mind and his health and enjoy all his earnings in comfort.

If people don't like the way he fights, then they won't buy his PPV's. But some people seem to like paying ro watch his fights, so good for him.

The warrior fighetr types that we all love so much, when they retire, they suffer brain damage or lifelong, irreversible physical ailments, and probably struggling to make ends meet.

We love them and admire them and honor them, but all that dont pay for all his bills.

I agree with the general message of your post and I'm sure a lot of other posters do as well, but one has to admit that the man has special skills that are among some of the historys best in the sport.

So it is kind of worth watching, keeping in mind that the man is weary of challenging his possible "0" dissappearing and that is not admirable or respectable either. But its not the man or as a fan of him I'm watching really.

Plus boxing being where its at I'll take what I can get.
