Every poll in every boxing forum, he looses on votes if the fight will be held at 135 and above. I know it has the same effect on me, but i'm surprised it's the general concensus.

Heck, even Bradley beats him now.

I'm saddened because JMM deserves more respect than this. He really had a great career during his prime.

It tends to happen in boxing, history gets revised after each fight. Aguy who was perfectly good going in is now either shot or exposed after a loss. I remember before big fights in Britain Tyszu vs Hatton and Lacy Vs Calzaghe most people picked the Brits to lose, but after the fight Tyszu was shot and Lacy was exposed as not good anyway.

It's unfortunate it's happening with JMM as anyone with a brain knew he had no chance anyway, I still think he's the best in the lightweight division where he belongs.

I think Juan Diaz' dismal performance in his last fight has an effect as well.

JMM is a hall of fame fighter. What's to criticize? He lost to another hall of fame fighter at a weight that was completely absurd. JMM is a FW. Even LW is a stretch. If you want perspective, let Floyd go fight a hall of fame MW and see what happens.

JMM beats everyone at 140 and below, Pacquiao is still a toss up but i do feel the increase in weight would favour Pacquiao.

I'm not that impressed with the jr. welter division right now...none are of the speed and skill Mayweather is. Bradley, Cambell, and Holt would be close decision wins for the undersized Marquez...IMO

Typical **** that happens, every fighter that loses has to get ripped to bits. He will win again and it will even out.

Marquez is and always has been a B level fighter, he hasn't beaten one live opponent, Hatton did better than Marquez against Mayweather.

I hate Hatton, but at least he tried to fight, and when Cortez stuffed up the fight, Hatton at least went out trying to get a KO, Marquez showed no heart and just looked a static lump trying not to get KO'ed.

He isn't even in the top 5 WW's, Khan would KO this over-rated bum, if he wasn't mexican, he wouldn't have half teh hype in his career that he's had.

    Fact
